We had a marvelous dinner here. It’s not often that we do appetizers and a full meal, yet the Grillsmith options were so appealing. Our server Jen was outstanding with both menu advice and timely service. We began with drinks, husband had Stella from the tap and I went for the Berry Fizz, both lovely, cooling beverages that paired well with complementary breadsticks provided by our server. We sat outside in comfortable chairs off a side street in the village-like mall. The restaurant inside has a bar vibe and was loud at dinner time. Outdoor seating was much quieter. You have to go inside to access it through the hostess. My husband had the side Caesar salad for a starter that was fresh and nicely dressed. I went for the side wedge, a healthy chunk of iceberg lettuce with bacon crumbles, blue cheese pieces and dressing. Both were delicious. We weren’t rushed at any time with the different courses. Grillsmith has a catch of the day and it was amberjack. Their fish is sustainably caught and sourced. Dinner came with two sides. On Jen’s recommendation, I had the amberjack with piccata sauce (you have a choice of several preparations), mixed grilled vegetables and the Yukon gold mashed potatoes for $28. The fish was perfectly grilled. The chef forgot my sauce, but the server corrected the mistake quickly. My husband enjoyed his Lemon Feta Chicken Breast with Artichokes and Sun-Dried Tomatoes in a reduction wine sauce for $22. He loved every bite. His spinach and garlic side was fresh and cooked to order. He also had the Yukon gold mashed potatoes and we both agreed they were the best mashed potatoes we’d ever had. The entire dining experience was memorable. We’d go back in a minute. We never made it to dessert as we were too full, but the choices were tempting. And, if they didn’t suit you, a Cold Stone Creamery is across the street.

A relative passed away suddenly and we need a large table for everyone coming to the service. I called every restaurant in Lakeland-EVERY one. And Sebastian saved us. He got us into a private room and took AMAZING care of us. The food was great, the drinks were great, and the service was beyond fantastic.

Absolutely wonderful every single time we go in. It is jam packed but you feel like family. Each server treats you like you are the only one there and the most important person in the ? you can see me there atleast 3 times a month and it is theconsistency for me

Restaurant is clean, food was tasty, however we ordered chicken and got flat bread, server was rarely at table, did not engage much, in a hurry. We had to get other servers for basic needs for drinks, sliverware.

Went to Grillsmith for dinner and we liked it so much I went back a couple days later and back a couple times since then within a couple months. The food is always consistently delicious. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. And most importantly the food usually comes out hot.We went last night for dinner and my husband ordered his salmon lightly blackened but it came out heavily blackened. He did not want to waste it by sending it back so he ate it but did not enjoy it like he should have. He said, I just take a bite and wash it down with my lemonade. I tasted it and wanted to spit it out due to being so salty. An FYI if you ask for lightly you may want to reiterate that.Pumpkin bisque soup - DeliciousFlatbread pizza - Pretty good for what it is.Burger- GreatChicken Marsala - Delicious, lots of flavorSalmon - Probably delicious if grilled.Sangria- very goodRaspberry lemonade- very good but pricey at $4.50We will definitely go back.

Service and food was good. Oak barrel salmon was very good, perhaps slightly over cooked exterior but the flavor made up for it. The interior was moist. Bananas foster sundae was very tasty. Grand matinee Cream brûlée was lacking in flavor. Please, wipe down the dirty menus.

Was given a 30-45 min wait, but our table was ready within 15 min - on Valentine's Day! Atmosphere was really nice. Our server, Devin?, was great - so friendly! Entrees were decent, but had a few pieces of burnt chicken in them... but the Bananas Foster redeemed the experience!! I'm not even a huge banana fan (but we got it since my husband loves all things banana), and it was AMAZING!! I would go back just to have that dessert again.

We took out of town guest's for what we thought would be a special dinner at a nice place. It turned into a huge embarrassment! I ordered some sweet potato fries as an appetizer. They mixed hot fresh fries with old soggy cold fries. My steak was supposed to be medium but was so well done I had to saw it to get a bite. It was luke beef jerky! Our guest steak was supposed to be medium well. It came out medium rare. The waiter wasn't even going to check the temp of our steaks but our guest cut hers before he finished passing out plates. He never asked how mine was. My husband's meatloaf was overcooked and tough. We spent close to $200 bucks for one of the worst meals I have ever had.

Normally it’s a nice experience eating at Grillsmith, but not tonight. I ordered curbside. The wahoo was overcooked, tough and very dry. The scalloped potatoes were greasy and swimming in cheese, and the green beans were over-seasoned. I was so looking forward to this $30.00 meal. I couldn’t eat it. It will be a while before I go back. Lakeland has lots of other restaurants from which to choose.

Key lime pie was excellent and au gratin potatoes. Didn't like the meat loaf, husband told our server and he was gracious and removed from our ticket. It may be good to others, it wasn't for us.
