Nice selection of items on lunch menu. It included a few vegetarian choices. My sister ordered the Fried Green tomatoes appetizer as an entree and it was sufficient as a meal. One got the club, another the Reuben and I got the Margarita flatbread. All was good.
The food is very flavorful. We had good service. My husband really enjoyed the Draft Kentucky Bourbon. The short ribs with the cauliflower mashed potatoes was amazing. My husband kept going for my dish! He ordered the Tea Brined Chicken which he really liked (just not as much as mine) we got the deviled eggs as an appetizer, they were good with bacon on top.
Delicious southern filet! Had to order extra butter because it was too darn good to only be on the steak! Compound garlic herb butter with bacon?Corey was my waiter and he was friendly, attentive, and over all a great waiter! What I love about frescoes is they have a great volume of seats available (indoor and outdoor) so wait times are typically a lot lower than other high end down town restaurants.
Outstanding service from Shane! Fish grilled sandwich (no bun), outstanding fries, great beer ( Kentucky Bourbon Barrel), Summer Salad with Salmon & Grove Roots Waves of Grain beer!
Great food, service, and atmosphere! We had the buffalo cauliflower, t-bone pork chop, and sweet tea marinated chicken (yes, you read that right!!). All were amazing dishes. Pork was a little under flavored, but the apples and stuffing with it more than made up for it! Drinks were great, and the dessert was too!Extra bonus for being a dog friendly patio, including bringing a fresh water bowl and multiple homemade dog treats for our pup!
I would recommend 10/10, atmosphere, food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back again.
Breakfast was fantastic!!!! Bottomless Mimosas && you can try ALL the flavors. The Shrimp & Grits were mouth watering served with a flaky, buttery biscuit. The Knuckle Bowl packed a hefty punch with all its yumminess. I'm drooling as I reminisce!!!!!
Our experience was terrible to say the least. Had issues from the moment we walked in the door... lack of being acknowledged . Server seemed to be annoyed to take care of us. The food was awful . Had brief interaction with the manager and it was apparent that she as the leader set the tone for such a bad experience. Hope they can find some good pp to turn that place around or just like many food establishments it too will not last for long.
My travels for work took me through Lakeland today and the doctor I was working with highly recommended that I eat at Frescos for lunch and I'm sure glad he did.My all time favorite sandwich....the Reuben was on the menu and I must say it is one of the best I've ever had. It's a simple sandwich but isn't always done right, but Frescos has nailed it. The next time I'm here I will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu.
My first day coming here was today. The staff were super sweet and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. They were pet friendly so I was able to bring my dog which is awesome. They even had bones for him and brought out water. The only thing I would say I didn’t necessarily like is I felt the waitress could of been a bit more attentive but I understand it’s easy to get distracted so I didn’t take it personally. The other thing I didn’t like was the fact our card was denied because of the system they have. I spoke to the waitress and she said their system is very old so that occasionally this happens. To be safe we called our bank and they said it was on their end as we had enough funds. Over all though our experience was good and I’d go again, just maybe with cash or just hav multiple cards on me (which I normally do anyways.)
