This is my first time going. I have tried tofu with garlic sauce. I am pleased with it. I will have to try something else to give a more in depth feedback about the food.
The best thing we had were the fortune cookies.The Crab Rangoon was stale, no crunch at all.The eggrolls were so small they actually put 3 in a bag made for one... and there was enough space for a forth.My Beef and Broccoli combo was 1/5th dry Beef and Broccoli (very little sauce and old beef) and 4/5ths rice. (This was not the normal skimp you see when ordering a combo, it was absurd).I paid extra for that rice to be chicken fried rice, but it was so white we thought they'd forgotten. Then I noticed it had onions in it, so it was supposed to be the fried rice but wasn’t browned at all and had no flavor. Did I say the beef tasted old.Two of my friends got Lo Mein and both said it was dry (How do you make dry Lo Mein!?!).My last friend got Bourbon Chicken but couldn’t eat it because the chicken was so overcooked. Then her friend went to eat it, took one bite and said, “no.”. She said the chicken was so dry that the crunch was on the inside.I envy the guy who said it was the best Chinese food he’d ever had. He has SO much to look forward to!!This place was awful… Never again!!
Extremely rude customer service! Started to walk out but had already paid online.. Absolutely terrible service. Food is good though

I will never order from here again. The lady said my total was 12.97 and this morning when I went to see my bank statement they charged me 14.84 try calling the place over and over to let them know what's going on and they don't pick up.
My husband and I eat here weekly, food is fresh large portions and fantastic. The staff is very friendly. Love this place. It's our absolute favorite.
We are new to the Lakeland Florida area and wanted to try a Chinese Restautant. We ordered 2 egg rolls that were very good, sechwan pork, which tasted like it was in a bbq sauce with hardly any spice and terrible overcooked vegetables, an order of kungpoa chicken which was bland and not spicy at all, the house specialty refried rice also lacking any flavor, and our favorite sweet n sour soup. No spice or heat and had mystery items in it. Maybe 2-3 day old cabbage. We added white pepper and some red pepper flakes. Bottomline we ended throwing it all out. I definitely would not only not recommend this place, but recommend to not try it.
Absolutly discusting ordered food from them the other night... Sweet and sour chicken combo.... Didn't even taste like chicken it was nasty never again will I order from them
Worse chinese take out I have ever gotten and I eat Chinese takeout a lot from many places... the sauce was putrid I threw my meal away. The egg roll tasted like a ciggerett. And my teriyaki chicken had not a drop of teriyaki sauce.
Happy I got to stop by China Chen's today for some really good food. I have been coming here since they opened. The food is the awesome and there sauces are the best. Spicy garlic is my favorite. I'm also always happy to see the family at China Chen's. They also just remodeled the place it's awesome ?????
