Was craving some Boricua food and this place did not disappoint - the rice and beans were to die for - and the churrasco was juicy and delicious. The tostones, the yuca and the sauces were on point. A+++
Very good! I was planning my next meal there before I walked out the door. I'm a big guy and I eat a lot. The portions were very adequate.
Very bad customer service. I ordered my lunch and I asked to please change arroz con gandules for white rice because I’m allergic and they just prefer to give me a refund. So unfortunately they lost 4 customer only on one lunch break. Chefs come to me and said that if he do that make him crazy. I’m still don’t understand how just change the spoon of rice to the other rice make him crazy but yes. No customer service skills sorry.
Waited 45 mins for a Cuban sandwich that wasn’t even worth the almost 13 dollars they charge. Second time and will not eat there again. No taste on that dried pernil they put in there. Totally forgot what ingredients come with the sandwich. Am a manager from two retail stores and I’ll make sure my reps won’t go there either.
Bad taste bbq ribs and beans with rice. Menu online is not correct. The only thing I enjoyed was the sweet plantains. Online makes it look like a fancy restaurant, but only a small dine in restaurant with 7 tables where you place the order first at the counter and then take a seat.
The rice bowl horrible taste like trash the mofongo no garlic no chicharron taste soggy uff i trashh $43.00 please learn to cook i do better food in my house my specialty the rico mofongo that's mofongo .i never come back to this place ah and dont taste like any puertorrican food ok .sorry but i trash my plate just eat the meat at list.
Amazing food and concept of the restaurant has changed. But the quality of the food is still just as amazing. Prices have gone up just a bit but it’s understandable due to all the prices of everything going up. Every plate comes with rice and beans and one side which is plenty of food. I think it’s definitely worth it to come here
Great food. helpful staff. we'll be back...
Much like others have said there are limited Spanish food options in lakeland. This place has decent food hut overall the price does not match the portion. I got the pernil with arroz cond gandules and there was hardly any pork mainly just rice. Also it's like $3 for a fountain drink. If you don't mind paying for overpriced rice this is the place for you.
Really good food and good prices. Very limited options in Lakeland for spanish food, but this is the best. Nice atmosphere and great service. Others can try to boast about being the best, but Brasa Latina can definitely claim the title.
