A little tucked away, but well worth the search. Nice variety on the menu, from soup to dessert. The sandwiches are more than satisfying, the soup is served hot with your choice of bread. My favorite dessert, the bread pudding a must try. The staff is friendly and very accommodating.
Great soups! They will not disappoint. They offer soup for every discerning taste bud. Too many choices to list.
I would not return here again. I ordered the chicken pot pie soup and upon first bite, it was clear that they either used far too much flour when making it, or they gave me the bottom of the pot that had been cooking all afternoon. The chicken Caesar wrap was not much better either, it was more like a loosely thrown together pocket of tortilla with hot wilted lettuce thrown in. Even the chips were stale. Disappointed after spending nearly $30 on our lunch. Go somewhere else.
Went there for lunch today. It was delicious....had the butternut squash soup and 1/2 holiday turkey sandwich. The soup was flavorful and hearty. Thick chunks of butternut squash in almost every spoonful. The sandwich was overstuffed with turkey breast, gruyere cheese and a cranberry topping. My husband had the Pastrami Ruben..He enjoyed every last bite of it.. fresh ingredients..friendly family run business. A must go to for lunch..they also let you taste any soup before ordering. To enjoy there or take out.A small outdoor seating area available.
First time order, heard good things. Everything was delicious! Chicken noodle soup was amazing and the bread was ot of this world. The holiday turkey sandwich was soooo good. I'll definitely be ordering again.
Customer service is embarrassing. The women in the front get all flustered over soup…..SOUP. Precooked soup that needs to be ladled into a bowl. They are in a constant tizzy over being behind and not being able to find tickets, they are always bickering between themselves and with customers. Constantly have an attitude for absolutely no reason. It’s embarrassing. The Togo orders push them over the edge. When someone comes to pick up they start arguing over that as well. I saw a gentleman ask what type of bread they offer and the women rolled her eyes and snarly answered back. You could tell the poor man felt uncomfortable and went with the first choice. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I won’t be coming back here again…horrible you should be ashamed.
Let me start this out by saying that I have been in customer service for over 14 years. Fast food, upscale restaurants, casual restaurants, as well as receptionist behind a front desk at the head of a large dealership.I walked into the front door not even to be greeted by the woman behind the counter. I was behind a mother and daughter who tried to order a hot sandwich. The lady behind the counter said to them “it’ll be at least 30 minutes until we can have that ready. I have a bunch of paperwork in the office that has to be finished.” I asked if the wait would be the same for a salad, to which she said, “yes.” I was shocked by her response. I will add that I understand what restaurants are going through because of covid. However, with 2 other girls behind the counter and no more than 3 people in line? This is unacceptable. The customer service was subpar and I feel that maybe the woman behind the counter should stay in the office.
Everyone is so friendly, even when there's a line out the door @ lunchtime. The soups are the best I've ever had and there sandwiches are out of this world. I get grilled veggie and butter nut squash soup. I've eaten many soups and sandwiches and everything I eat is delicious ?
This place is amazing and we will definitely be back while we are in town. Have tried the tomato basil and the loaded potato soup and both were some of the best I have ever had. The sandwiches also great.
Really have always loved this place but haven’t been in a while since working from home. Went today for soup and sandwich. Tuna salad was delicious and service was great but the chicken pot pie soup was gooey and thick and didn’t taste good at all. The fresh iced tea had a weird taste like they haven’t cleaned their holder. After waiting 20 minutes it was disappointing. Posting in order to help the business back to where they usually are which is great.
