My favorite sushi place. Wonderful, relaxing atmosphere., Friendly staff, delicious, fresh sushi. They also have other delicious foods for the non-sushi eaters in my family.

Had the L3 Sashimi lunch meal today w miso soup and it was delicious! 5 pieces of sashimi, salmon roll, and the most flavorful miso soup I’ve had in a long time. Called ahead for pickup and it was ready in 20 min. No complaints here!

For whatever reason, we have had a hard time finding good sushi here in South Florida. I'm sure are a few, we just haven't ventured out to far because bad sushi can ruin your whole day.We took a chance with Sushi Yami, almost out of desperation, and they did not disappoint. Pieces we're right on par with other places, and the sushi we had was very good. We went for lunch and didn't have to wait long for the rolls, which was nice.We haven't gone a second time yet to try anything else, but will be coming back soon. I very much recommend this place for sure.

We really enjoy going to Sushi Yami. Their sushi and dishes are always fresh. We've frequented there for a number of years and the team is always very accommodating when we dine in. I do wish they had a bit more sushi options but that could be due to how often we go. Their crab rangoon is the best around!

I was just there a few minutes ago during my break. It was the most relaxing experience ever. The piano music playing in the background, small employee chatter, and clean restaurant. It smelled so good. It smelled better than an all you can eat buffet or the golden corral. It smells and looks better then Kingdom Buffet to be honest. You don't need to go anywhere else for sushi or other delights. I order a roll with salmon, seaweed, scallions and avocado. Served with a jar of soy sauce. Like I said, it was pretty nice. I ate and relaxed, going through my phone. I didn't feel pressured to spend more. The attendant/waitress she was really nice, always working around the restaurant floor, and keeping up with patrons. I seriously recommend this place 100%!!!!

Unfortunately, the dishes were hit or miss, mostly miss. The shrimp tempura roll was good, comparable in flavor to other spots around but did not shine. The beef sticks appetizer were alright. They reminded me of a higher end quality of the ones from a Pupu Platter at a Chinese restaurant flavorwise. Nothing wrong with them, but not really my thing, so i probably would not have them again. The vegetable fried rice was not bad, but also would not reorder since I have had better at other places and would not go out of my way to order it as an extra item. I had the teriyaki salmon from the grill, which was quite good. It was served with Miso Soup or Salad, which I opted for Miso Soup and came accompanied by white rice and vegetables. Unfortunately, they would not substitute for fried rice in the meal when asked, which was not only disappointing, but also the reason I was convinced to order a side of fried rice when prompted. I also was a bit disappoint you do not get both a Soup and a salad, like other restaurants of its kind would offer. I also tried a bit of my girlfriends grilled chicken meal from the grill, which she got with similar sides. I would not recommend as I did not enjoy the flavor of the sauce. It did not remind me of a traditional asian flavor that i am used to. Id say more of like a Mediterranean flavor since it reminded with notes of lemon and peppers. In summary, it was a bit pricey, and only one item I would say was super enjoyable, so I probably would not return. It's not a bad spot as the service and order accuracy were on target, but would not be my preference.

Food is good here but today I ordered some sushi to go $45 and the lady told me I had to wait outside, the place wasn't full or anything,Wierd...?

I love the sushi in this place, all the dishes are delicious, the place is small, not a place to stay for too long just for a quick dinner but the service is very slow.

Dinner was a true delight. We started off by trying the most delicious Udon vegetable noodle soup. Next we sampled a plate of flavorful Crispy Galic Chicken.Laura our Host made it a great experience. The place stays busy from the frequent comers who felt as family coming in knowing each other by name. This made it feel like Home!!!Love this hidden gem ?. Champion ?of Service
