I had been looking forward to trying this place, as I love a good diner, and as a new resident, want to support local businesses. However, it did not live up to any of the hype. Upon entering no one said a single welcoming word, I had to go up to the counter to ask if I could sit myself. The server was nice, however the customer service aspect was just missing, I mentioned it was my first time there and receive zero welcoming response. When the food came the french toast did not look cooked at all and was mush, the eggs with cheese had a slice of processed American Cheese which is super unfortunate, because the eggs themselves were super fluffy when I ate around the cheese. I had to also ask for any condiments, the table was not preset for my order. Lastly the bacon had definitely been cooked...to the point it was mostly charred. Needless to say, I couldn't eat it and not once was I asked if everything was ok, but the bill was brought, I paid and left a mostly full plate of uneatable breakfast. Sad because I really was hoping this was going to be a great hometown place to go to regularly.
Great places to eat but there are some issues .Before I go on I enjoy mom an pop restaurants an rather support them. One of the staff a ma!e with draids across the street to Publix to get loafs of bread. On his way crossing back over the road he started digging in his nose with one hand coughing I'm the other while holding loafs of bread in the other. Observing that would be enough for any guests to second guess eating here.
Loved this spot. We come to the center of Lake Worth every week, turn in front of this place, but never visited before. My wife pointed it out and we walked in. What a pleasure it was! I always order 2 eggs, a tomato on the side with dry Rye toast the first time I get to a breakfast place. Simply put: perfect. The perfect cooked...everything. Also, price! You go have an egg these days and you pay as much as a steak? Most places charge $4 for drip cofee? No wonder most people make it at home. Back to Roxie's Place, try it and you will not be disappointed.
My daughter's favorite place! It has the old school diner feel and they're very welcoming. The food is tasty, too. They even had almond milk for my coffee (I'm lactose intolerant). Totally recommend.
Cute little local joint with cheerful staff and solid cafe cuisine.
Great food, amazing staff! Owner cones out frequently to speak to everyone. You have to try the Broccoli slaw...its the best I have ever had. And prices are very reasonable.
Traditional diner with some great value breakfasts. Many thanks
Simple clean accommodations. Good homemade cooking. Sausage gravy is awesome, one if the best I've had. Crunchy French toast very tasty. The bacon perfect. Breakfast sandwich Northeast style, very good.Would definitely return and recommend.
Come for the great meal and prices stay for the smiles and the great family atmosphere! Roxies Place has quickly become a Lake Worth staple and it’s easy to see why! The food is always on point and made from scratch, the service is awesome. Our regular waitress Jess always a pleasure. If your looking for something fancy this may not be for you but if your looking for a good traditional home cooked breakfast look no further!
The owner and her daughter are absolutely wonderful! I come here at least once a month. We have a big group every time and they are extremely accommodating. They also love watching my little princess grow up. My daughter eats the food here but loves the owner and daughter even more!
