Great food & best of all has Dim Sum everyday! But no baked BBQ pork bun, ever!! ?If you can live w/o baked BBQ pork bun then go enjoy!They also have a large variety of authentic Chinese dishes - Wintermelon Soup, fried pork intestines...that kind of stuff. Highly recommend it. Have been going there for years.
Service was borderline rude, but at the end we realized we were grossly overcharged. Waitress added items we never ordered or received AND just put 20% tips for herself. when we pointed on this , we didn't receive any apology. Not only that, they yelled at as for leaving a reduced tip. Very, very unpleasant experience.
Food was mediocre, service was unwelcoming- borderline rude but worse is that they charged us couple items we did not order as well as 20% tip. We actually noticed it after we paid the bill. Then we spent quite a long time trying to get our waitress attention. She absolutely knew what she did and was avoiding us. She did not apologize, but corrected the bill. We left her reduced tip that led to her ugly outburst. I will not come back.
I will begin by saying that I usually favor other Asian cuisine, such as Thai or Japanese. Looking for traditional Chinese takeout, for a bit of a change, I decided to try Real Wok. I was not impressed. I ordered in person. The woman, taking my order in person, was civil but not friendly. Ordered the lunch-time combination, selecting a dinner option for a slightly higher price ($15.70 + tax). I ordered lo mein with shrimp, hot and sour soup, plain fried rice, egg roll, and stuffed eggplant dim sum. The food quantity was plentiful but unimpressive. I will keep looking.
I’m so confused by these reviews. These people were so nice both on the phone and in person. Everything was great! I was very excited to find traditional dim sum with push carts as we used to go into Chinatown 2x a month growing up from NJ since my grandmother lived in NYC. I called yesterday which was a Saturday to ask if they normally have a wait so I knew when to go today. The lady who answered was super nice. I drove up today shortly after they opened and was in heaven. I’m a huge dumpling fan, they are my weakness and they had plenty! Everyone was very nice. Embarrassed to say I forget my servers name but he was so nice and just fantastic! I’ll call him Brooklyn as he’s originally from there. Great dim sum menu and super nice people! Got my to go order too and now wish I grabbed a lot more. Will be back!
Only had time for some Dim Sum so I need to go back. The food was great and very clean dining area. Must try the Duck on my next go.
The food is excellent. Extensive menu with anything one could ever want from a Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately the service was horrible The place was not crowded but our drink order wasn't even taken for 40 minutes inspite of repeated promises to be right there. I recommend take out.
We had hot and sour soup, vegetable egg rolls and sesame chicken and pepper steak. The soup, egg rolls and the sesame chicken were excellent. It is a shame that we had a waitress with an attitude, although our friends told us that the night we went, she was on better behavior. Oh well, still would go back for the food.
food was good. service could of been better. server didnot want cash tip only wanted it on charge. strange
Worst experience ever! I will never eat at this restaurant EVER again. I complained about multiple flying bugs being found on top of my food and crawling all over my food. The male waiter made the following comment, " that's because the doors are open". After 2 more flies were found, I asked that the food be taken away, as I begin to feel sick. The waiters proceeded to bring me the check and I refused to pay FULL PRICE for food with BUGS. I offered to pay half-price as I barely ate my food. When this happened, 3 of the employees came to my table and attacked me and my two friends. They began to scream/ yell at us to pay, although the service and food was less than satisfactory. My friends DID pay but the servers were mad because one of them did not leave a tip....oh well! The male waiter made another disgusting comment by saying, " You always come here and do this. Get out and never come back again". Funny thing is, I've only been there ONCE and that was 2 years ago. Sorry, wrong black lady buddy. Inspectors need to make multiple visits to this place because I can only image what's flying/crawling around behind closed doors. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! I want to give this place NO STARS, but I have no choice.
