I would have gave him five stars but their mango and freezer machine has been down for a few weeks now at least over 3 weeks which sucks cuz I live in Florida and it's super hot and I figured that would be something that they would definitely have running. but that's my critique about this location. besides that, everything else is good. The food is fresh. delicious! staff is great. just order the new machine that you need for the mango freezer and I'll be happy and I'm sure other people will too
The last time I went through the drive thru the cashier got very nasty to me when I pointed out to her she was over charging me for my meal and she got my order wrong. She had the nerve to say to me "Don't talk to me like that". I was not mean to her and I didn't deserve that kind of response. This location has frequently made order mistakes in the past at the drive thru but I recently had a young woman employee treat me so poorly for questioning her on getting my order right. I do not recommend this Pollo Tropical location and go find another location somewhere else.
I don't know what is going on with Pollo Tropical. Their food is amazing and I love it but every branch that I stop their service is a problem. Always seems like they about to get into a fight and you can't distinguish who is the manager. Plenty of people working but noone taking charge of the floor situation. Get it together please
I just wanted to recognize the manager at this location as I visited this location twice the past couple weeks and my experience was great. The first time I was ordering yellow rice at the drive thru and the girl helping me said they only had white rice; the manager came on the speaker and told the girl they were just getting some yellow rice done and would be ready for my order. Today I was there again and I as I was ordering my Chicken Tropi-Chop I said I wanted the one that comes with avocado, and the manager came on again and explained that was a different dish.. I said that was OK and to do the order without the avocado. To my surprise, the avocado was in my order when I served my food at home for dinner, that made my night. Keep up the good work man and I hope upper management can appreciate what you do.
The worst food I ever ordered.. rice not cooked..like gravel in box..steak burnt and hard as beef jerky.. TERRIBLE!! In bag was plastic wear for 6 people..and 9 cups of sauce..for two orders..Chicken was dry as a bone and old tasting..fed rice to ducks.. they wanted nothing to do with the rest of the contents in the box.. This was a horrible disappointment ? gave one star but it never even qualifies for that..
I was discriminated against at this Pollo Tropical, Ironic I get discriminated at a place called Pollo Tropical when I am a Latina. However the "Manager" discriminated against me. I was asking for a whole Chicken all dark meat, I was told by "The White Manager" that he could not do that, he didn't have enough, I understood, didn't complain just continued with my order. Two customers later (after me), a White Gentleman and his adult son asked for Dark Meat, "the Manager" said the same thing to them at first, "I can't give you all dark" and when they threatened to go to Chipotle, "The Manager" gave them what they wanted, not 3 minutes after he had said No to me....I was still standing there at ear shot waiting for my food. I guess because I was not white like him and I didn't fuss at him, he could tell me flat out "No" but he could make arrangements for his White Customer.
Everything was excellent (steak, pork, chicken and sausage). Try the garlic cilantro sauce, you won't be disappointed.
Waited over 30 minutes for an online order. Had I waited and gone through the drive thru I would have had my food faster. I don’t understand the process. The only positive thing I have to say is the employee working in the drive-through taking orders was extremely helpful in getting me my order.
My closest pollo tropical to my house , I’m writing because about three times now this location had no chicken every time I went there , bad customer service , never have chicken when I go there , closing store way before closing time because there is no chicken.over all horrible service including Uber eats and take out , hope manager pays attention and resolve this problem
Pollo Tropical store #10126 Jog & Lantana rd, LW, FL 33463 is AWESOME!! Their entire staff works very hard, these times aren't easy and they're coming in and still trying and doing their best. My family and I really appreciate EVERYONE'S HARD work!! I informed your corporate office as well but just in case they don't tell you, we APPRECIATE everything you all do!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
