Stopped by yesterday to pick up some lunch for me and some friends. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was great! Will be back soon! Love the general vibe of this place, highly recommended for great food and great prices! Thanks again!
I gave years of my life to this place. YEARS. I worked for Maria and Vinny and I loved them like family. I was there with the old school crew. Maria and Vinny decided to retire and sold the place, rightfully so. They worked HARD. The new owners came and were doing a great job. All the staff there knew that I worked for years to become a RN. YEARS. Everyone there knew the tireless efforts I put forth to better my life. I had customers that I waited on that I loved, that loved me back. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, I know that. But you can’t please everyone. Needless to say, after all I have been through I got my first job as a nurse. I gave my notice and the new owner told me not to come back, he decided to give me “a vacation”. I didn’t want a vacation, I wanted to say goodbye to all the people I waited on for so many years! I can NOT believe I actually thought that maybe they would even care enough to throw a little party with a cake to congratulate me. But no, I was booted out. And that’s ok, because I really didn’t want to work there another day but I figured I earned the right to at least say goodbye to my loving customers that watched me suffer through the process of becoming the woman I am today. I was robbed of that right. All because of bitterness. Such a toxic and abusive environment that place has become. And I hear about all the trash talking; people saying that I left an awesome serving job just to go wipe butts and that they guarantee I will hate my job. RN’s are so much more than that and I feel sorry for those people that are so deeply naive. Where is the professionalism and maturity? I guess shouldn’t expect much more- my Dad always taught me to consider the source. The food has declined in taste and quality so much so that some of the plates I would deliver embarrassed me. The owners will back stab and gossip about you but then smile in your face. The staff is overworked and exhausted because the no one gets up to help. That is one thing I will say about Vinny and Maria, they would NEVER sit and watch you drown bc that would only affect the customer! I don’t know guys. I was holding back on saying anything but I needed to share this. Moms Kitchen is not and will not EVER be the same. To anyone reading this that had me as a waitress: I wish you all well and will pray for your health and happiness ? Ps- consider the spinach lasagna my last meal and a gift to me. It’s the least y’all can do ? God bless you

This is mine and my husbands favorite comfort food eatery. Delicious home cooking. scrumptious desserts, happy and down to earth staff. It's like an old-time diner where the staff know you by name. I used to work in Lake Worth, and we ate here once weekly. Sadly, we moved and don't get back here much. But while in town, it's a must. We've been eating here for nearly 15 years, and the quality never wavers. The best fish and chips in town. Better lasagna than most Italian restaurants. Perfect club sandwiches. The best pie! If you're a sweet tooth lover and like a good dessert, this is your place. They do homey treats like rice pudding with whipped cream! Do yourself a favor - skip the chains and patronize this Mom and Pop gem. You won't be disappointed.
If you love down home cooking this place is for you. Their food is always made fresh and tastes delicious. My family and I have been eating breakfast here for 30 years. I get the mom's supreme. Its hashbrowns, topped with onions, peppers, mushrooms, American cheese, and 2 eggs any style, and comes with toast or biscuit and you can add any meat. I add bacon. Yum! They have amazing foods for lunch as well. Its a small restaurant that offers amazing food, friendly service, and low prices.
This place has the absolute best home made hot sauce. I tend to buy a couple bottles at a time because we go through it so fast in my house. The food is everybit just as delicious. They don't handle really big parties well but if there's 4 or 5 of you its perfect.
Been going here to eat for many years never a problem till today the lady on check out uses tap function on debt card and refuses to re try card after it was declined, I called my bank they said it’s Ben a issue for a while and retailers know it. Just insert chip or swipe instead of make me look like an idiot. 20 plus years never a problem, either ask customer or just use chip on card. New owners need to teach them, totally unsat..gonna rethink where I go to eat..
Very good experience here, I had the pot roast which was absolutely delicious,you could tell it was homemade.They are very clean as well.The only negative I have, was that the service took a bit long, but in all fairness, it was busy and they seemed like they may have been short-handed. We will definitely visit again,when we are in the area!
