Hey folks at Mario’s. Please update your online PRICES!!! ~ adore Mario’s food. As a Rhode Island native, I know Italian! From Federal Hill to Tuscany. They are as close as it gets down here and Nyc. Unusually authentic. while I may order take out from time to time ( seafood salad app is as good as Santa Margherita! I must look at their online offerings. Please update your menu prices!!!!. Also- No mention of an earlier menu 4-6 pm online which offers a prix fix. it’s there in house and a need to know option. I ordered 2 apps, Zuppa di mussels and sautéed spinach, some rolls for $3 and splurged for a $6 cannoli now $10. Totaled all to $29, for all and came to way more plus a tip- I will always provide to the serving staff. . Pls let us all know this bc if I came in with less $$ I could not have picked it up. Inflation amd our economy are suffering. But I planned on a couple apps and a cannoli? Added up to almost 46 for one small person. Just make it right so we know please. Thanks so much.
This restaurant openly and proudly supports a cop killer. Worse — when someone sent a message to complain, the response they received from the restaurant stated: “…everyone has a past.” Disgusting. Avoid if you support decency and denounce murder.
To provide food service to a person who was complicit in the murder of a NYC Police Officer is just business. To promote your establishment in awe of that same person is totally disgusting and shows poor judgment. Your moral compass is off by quite a few degrees. Excellent food! Chicken Marsala was delicious Tiramisu to die for & Garlic Bread was amazing…all tasty & fresh! Service was friendly & attentive… Monica was great! Will definitely go back! Would love to check out Karaoke night!
We had the most wonderful experience last night! This was our first time in the new location and it was outstanding! We were greeted by Mario at the door and he was so welcoming. Dante was our server and he was so personable it felt like we knew him for years! He was so knowledgeable about every dish and he made the greatest recommendations for everyone! Kenny was the entertainment while we were dining and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The food was so delicious and fresh. We ended our visit with one drink at the bar with Morgan and she was such a delight. So busy but took care of us immediately. We will definitely be back. The experience felt like we were at a family party! I can’t wait to celebrate many more occasions there!
10/10 best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. Amazing food, amazing experience, reasonable price point.
