Food is good. I always order the turkey or the fried goat (taso). The fried plantains are a little too thick and not fried enough for my liking. I also don’t like the pikliz; it’s not spicy enough, I just taste the vinegar. The rice is the best. Service amazing; surprisingly for Haitian restaurant. That’s the main reason I keep coming back, service. Wish every Haitian business understood that! Minor tweaks and they are five star.
If a restaurant can even make nice griot you need to close your door!!!
I’m not rating the food because I didn’t have a chance to try it. But if the food is the same as the customer service, I’m glad I didn’t. Franz was nice but it’s his wife that doesn’t understand the concept of customer service as if she was doing me a favor. Poor internal communication. Typical Haitian mentality so that’s why I rated it 2 stars. Maybe one day when all other options are exhausted, I’ll possibly give them a try. Doubt it but maybe
There are a man who pickup the phone he’s not nice with the customer and when we’re coming to pick up the food he loud On me he’s very rude.don’t go to this place and the food not really good .expired food ?
So fresh and delicious! The owner was very kind and personable. I found my new Caribbean restaurant. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu
