When I first entered here i thought right away this could be my go-to coffee place, i loved the interior. I still do. It has an old and relaxed feel to it which is what I like.The prices are somewhat steep for the location but I understand everyone has bills to pay. I ordered a double espresso and a pastry. Barista used a mustache spout and as he turned around for a moment, half of the crema went to waste next to the cup. This wasn't even the cup i got, he then poured the espresso into another cup, essentially removing most of the crema. It totally defeated the purpose of ordering espresso. However, it did taste good.The pastry was alright. When it's ready they shout the order out loud and you come to counter to pick it up. None of the workers check tables for dirty cups or plates, there's no table service whatsoever.Maybe i came in at the wrong moment, but the music was solemn. For good 7 minutes it was some very quiet instrumental followed by Lana del Rey. There are much better lounge music options that are relaxing but not depressing, for example Thievery corporation or Morcheeba. Just a thought.
I loved this Coffee shop, it has a super cool and laid-back atmosphere as well as beautiful. I order a prosciutto toast and it was divine, the coffee also delicious. I only expected a creamy filling on the chocolate cake. But it was all very delicious. I will definitely come back more often. Brazilian coffee ❤️
My favorite coffee shop in the world. The crew is awesome. The coffee is heavenly. The food is delicious (they have great everything bagels ). Dog ? friendly, warm environment to chill out. I haven’t been back to that place that starts with S since I found Common Grounds.
My wife and I came here to spend a week on vacation. The first morning we were here we went to Common Grounds. We had fantastic coffee and lattes as well as very delicious pastries. Fortunately we discovered this place early in our vacation and have returned almost every day and have enjoyed it each time.
The vibes were definitely good as well. Excellent customer service.
Wonderful selection of sandwiches and variety of coffees. Really enjoyed the different selections of Brazil, Guatemalan & Drifter but especially the Mocha Latte one morning…Wonder if “Peets” in San Francisco can make me one!?!
Coffee culture is alive and well in Lake Worths downtown district. Solid coffee, all day breakfast and non dairy options to boot.
Feb 2022, we walked into the place and then walked right out. The place had a very strong odor of a cleaning product. We expected the place to have that fresh ground coffee smell, and were very disappointed because we wanted to like the place. We really couldn’t sit there and drink coffee, so we ended going to Monada Cafe Inc instead which was clean, bright (inside) and had great coffee. Anyway, I was reading the past reviews of your place and I am sorry hear you are having problems. All and all, my opinion has nothing to do with the coffee only what we experienced when we walked through the door.
My first time here was Sunday 01/02/2022 I ordered an iced latte with sugar and it was delicious! The staff is VERY friendly and the atmosphere is clean. I’ll definitely be returning & trying new things
love common ground :) love that in always feel welcomed. even days when I would being my blanket sitting for hours waiting for open mic night lol. thanks for always being so caring :). Also the boynton location was so sweet to me one day after I had a seizure skating their and skinned up my knee. Really really awesome ppl that work there
