Have been here twice and really enjoyed the outside dining. Service was great by the attentive waiters both times. Food was well prepared as ordered and as described. Reasonable pricing.
Where do I start?! The waiter never picked up any finished plates from my table. Plates just kept piling up until I left. However the tables around me were always cleared. The waiter never came back to ask if I needed anything. The other tables had waiters constantly there. Never got refills! He brought the plates and left the check and that was it. If I had to guess, this place is racist.
I went there for Father's Day with my family and got a free pint. So right out the gate, it was awesome!My wife and I split a burger, as did my two kids (they got chicken fingers). Flavor-wise, the burger was good, albeit thinner than I would have liked, but the taste made up for it. However, we ordered it medium, which was closer to well-done, which would explain why it took so long to get it and at room temperature. The fries were barely warm too. So that was a little bit of a letdown.The server could probably benefit from not being so intense and maybe smile a little. But he was efficient for sure. The overall environment was friendly and nice. From the looks of it, the lunch specials look attractive so we may come back sometime and try that out.
This is our go-to place for weekday lunch. Good food, good deals, good service. Ask for Will for your server!Buffalo bites & prime rib french dip are delicious!For a change I decided to get chicken fajitas (also delicious).
I can't comment on the actual food because we didn't get a chance to eat because no one would help us. I totally understand that a lot of places are experiencing labor issues but this place was unacceptable. We walked in at around 3:30pm, so it wasn't a crazy busy time of day. The bar did have a good amount of people for that time but only 2 or 3 tables seated in the dining room. We stood at the front door being ignored for a good 5 minutes, there was no sign so we didn't know if we were supposed to take a seat or wait to be seated. There were about 4 people behind the bar and only 1 server that I could see. No one said a word to us. Finally the server finished taking an order and walked towards the front so at this point I assumed we would be helped but no. They put the menus down on the host stand and totally walked away without even looking at us. I would have been fine with a "we will be right with you", or really any acknowledgment but we were completely ignored. The girls behind the bar were standing around talking so I feel someone could have helped out. Needless to say we never got seated and left.
We sat outside and even though it was hot, our waitress was very accommodating and friendly. She made the experience great. We had drinks and wings as an appetizer, which were all standard sports bar fare. I'd come back.
Really sorry, because my 1st introduction to this restaurant was a great experience. But now. Not sure if I'll return. My last experience the server actually forgot us we waited hours for our food in which had to go back because it was cold. Must have sat in the window for a while. So we thought we'd give the place another try.Walked in, the place was a disaster.Dirty tables and booths for unorganized, the place seems to have staff. But there's no sense of urgency to serve or clean. Management needs to organize their staff into daily operations. When a table gets up it should be immediately cleaned and set for the next customer.The hostess status to a dirty table. We waited for wait staff and for someone to clean the table. Unfortunately it never happened. We decided to go to Denny's.This is a shame. Who is running your restaurant, it's seems to just be a hangout overstaffed with no direction.Mr owner Mr Manager be present at your restaurant, know what's going on.More importantly what's not going on..Good Luck.Visited: Wed 4/13/22 8:30pm ish...
Stopped in at AJ’s early afternoon on a Thursday while my wife did some shopping. The bar was quite busy for the time of day but it was the perfect spot for midday drinking. I ordered a Vodka Red Bull with sugar free Red Bull and then followed up with a couple Budweisers. The waitress was friendly and the drinks were fairly cheap. Perfect place for a cold one!
I normally yes. but tonight no! am a regular to AJS and I must say tonight's food was the worst I ever had. My kids ordered spaghetti and meatballs the meatballs were as hard as a golf ball, they did not offer to comp this. The French onion soup tasted like some1 spilled a pound of salt in it. Returned it. The chicken wings way over cooked. Expressed concern and got nothing but a sorry. Not sure I'll be returning
Totally disappointed!! My mom and I didn't get to have lunch. We arrived and waited at the front for at least 10 min. No one ever said hi or be right with you even though they were zooming past us. FINALLY a guy asked how many and we asked if we could sit outside...he proceeded to yell at us that we would have to wait. Waiting isn't the issue... the tone and attitudeis.I responded that we would be leaving. I have never experienced someone with attitude like this. This restaurant is new and if they can't hire staff that treats customers better...they won't be hereing.
