We've lived in the Heathrow area for 23 years. We don't eat out much as I love to cook. I had heard of Tomasino's and had seen a menu online. It's off the beat and path of my daily rounds so it was one of those "I've got to try this place". Well it took till 2021, but this former NY'er finally made the time...The Don Tomasino is RIDICULOUS. I almost got a hernia lifting the 18" to the car. "Bianca topped with our special recipe, breaded eggplant with spinach & tomatoes drizzle with our special pink sauce. If Pizzas had a boss, it would be this pie" ..since then we've had a dozen more and this 5'11" 220 lb guy can't eat more than 2 slices. We've also referred others in the area and they have been equally impressed. Tonight our daughter was visiting and wanted to buy us dinner--we went for the Eggplant Parmigiana, Mama’s Mac & Cheese, and the Pasta Vivianna. All very good and the eggplant was EGGCELLENT...perfect thickness and crispy. Portion sizes are right-not skimpy and not so much as you get sick from stuffing your face. Prices are reasonable, even on the low side for today's higher costs. The dinners came with garlic knots that were all wonderful...not greasy or overpowering..no aftertaste. My daughter ordered via DoorDash tonight, but we've done takeout, and eat-in as well. This is the real deal and one of the best in its class in the Seminole County area.
Unfortunately pizza wasn't up to standards, we tried giving it another chance but they don't add toppings all over the pizza and had too much cheese. Garlic knots were good. I know we aren't in NY but it could definitely be better.
The Lake Mary staff is exceptional!! We ordered a pizza, then got caught in terrible traffic, and arrived 2 hours late, and 15 minutes before closing. Instead of giving me the original order, which was either sold, cold, or tossed, they made me a fresh pizza, and told me not to worry about the time. They could easily have told us to go out and sit at the outdoor tables, but they did not!!! This is how customer service should be!! THANK YOU!!!!
The staff was right on seating my husband and myself as we stopped for lunch. They also got our drinks to us quickly and answered any questions we might have had about the menu. They do have lunch specials. Our order came out in good time. The garlic knots were a nice treat. Prices are reasonable. Tables were sanitized quickly as customers left. There is plenty of parking as it is in a strip mall location.
I had the wings (which were cooked to my liking), 2 slices, and garlic knots... it was so good! I will be back! Everyone was nice, especially the manager.
The wife eats gluten free. She remarked that: "this is the best gluten free crust I've ever had at a restaurant." I know I don't need to say it but if they can make the wifey happy, then by golly, you've got a chance of being happy too.Great job guys! We will be back.
Decent pizza. Decent prices. Not the best pizza I’ve ever had. Pretty average but won’t stop me from going back at all every now and then
Excellent food and service - and they have a wonderful gluten free option for pizza! Definitely recommend!
Pizzas decent, nothing incredible but definitely better than average (Pizza Hut, Domino's etc...). Service is a hit or miss but I understand staffing is difficult, post Covid. If you're in the area, Tomasino's is a pretty solid choice for Pizza!
Took my family here for the first time and they have a fast friendly service. I was born and grew up in New York, so I'm very picky when choosing my NY style pizza and I can tell you this place is amazing. The pizza is delicious with authentic New York style flavor.
