Food great! Great to eat at the Papa Joe's. Ordering is fine. The problem is when you pick up the food especially during busy time. It is easy to be ignored. A numbering system should be used so the person picking up food knows when food is ready. The last 3 times I went there I sat there and the employees walked by me and said nothing. When the food is ready there needs to be a way of letting the customer know. All 3 times the food was ready and I was not made aware. It is not my responsibility to ask if it is ready. I need to told that it is ready!
I visited Papa Joe's on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. I had 3 unruly kids with me, and was offered a large corner booth which was very appreciated. The kids were extra fidgety that day and the waiter was patient and kind which meant a lot. The main reason I'm reviewing is because there was actually a hiccup with my order, a miscommunication with the waiter and cook. I will say, the waiter (restaurant) more than made up for this. I have been to a restaurant that tried to make me feel at fault, so that was nice in comparison. The kids enjoyed their meals, and we left satisfied with our visit!
The service was not welcoming. One guy was very sweet through. While I was waiting for my food I saw one guy in the back spit that was so nasty. Everyone was walking around running their had through their hair and no one was using gloves. The guy in the front fixed my sale by picking the lettuce up with his bare hands. The baked ziti they only had cheese on top and when I put my fork in to pick it up it was very watery. It was nasty so I only had 2 bites. The pizza was good, maybe that’s what they should stick to. Last night was my first time and I will not be back! It was really a waist of money. The girl Emily in the front didn’t even ask what we wanted when we walked up she was just looking at us so I ask for a menu.

Waited more than an hour for burnt over priced small portions of food that smelled rotted. Run away they don’t care at all. Poor service and organization. Maybe if we had the right color skin we have gotten service faster. I’m not sure
Stopped in to grab a slice while waiting for our movie next door. Staff was great and very responsive as well as promt. Beer was very good and was priced better then the other surrounding places. The pizza was great and has the NYC taste to it. Didn’t try much else but very anxious to try again. Maybe next time I’ll try the dinners out. Over all A++
Closed the dining room down early. Closes at 10pm and I was there at 9:17pm. Next time put dining room is open til 9:20pm. Both server and hostess gave nasty looks as well. Will never go here again.
The service was amazing food tasted fantastic BUT I had some issues. The pizza was very very greasy even tho it tasted good it was very greasy on the bottom. The only other horrible thing was that the total came to $34 and they took $41.41 from my card and it wasn’t the tip because I left the tip IN CASH $10, sadly I found this out when I got home. I want to go again but I won’t let that happen to me again
Sauce was not good. Average to low food quality.
Food was okay, but it was brought out at different times. There were three people in our group. Two were done eating by the time they brought out the third person's food. They were not crowded, so the kitchen should have timed everything better. Also one person ordered chicken and it was cut when it was brought out. Usually a kitchen knows how to time their cooking and does not cut the chicken before serving.
