Lonnie's is always great food that is well prepared. I love their torpedo shrimp appetizer and chicken with a champagne mushroom sauce! Emily who waited on us is always so nice! We stop there for dinner every time we are in the Sanford - Lake Mary area!
Love coming here. Great menu and the taste of the food is off the charts. Very personable and attentive staff. The dining experience is quaint and relaxed. Make sure you make reservations as it fills up quick ! Would highly recommend
Our server was fast and friendly, but that was pretty much the only good thing about our experience. The filet mignon was not a filet, it was some other cut of steak with lots of gristle. Someone on Google raved about crab cakes so we placed 2 orders of those - they were ok but not amazing, no big chunks of crab like I'd expect for $18/ea. - they were mostly filler. Something kept burning in the kitchen, which smelled awful and filled the restaurant with smoke multiple times during our meal. I had family visiting from Calfornia whom I hadn't seen in years and this was our one meal together when they visted - I was embarassed about the poor food quality and bad experience inside the restaurant. Last time I went to Lonnie's was years ago and it was fantastic, this recent experience was awful. Lonnie's used to be an upscale place with amazing food to match their high prices - they still have the high prices but the experience was not at all upscale. Sorry Lonnie's, I wont be coming back anytime soon.
This local place is amazing. Lonnie the owner is the chef taking extra care of every detail. Make a reservation it's worth it. Crab Cakes are awesome as well as anything Lonnie prepares. The wine list is good also :)

Excellent restaurant! Had the special of the day. Blackened grouper and shrimp with a tasty mango sauce. It came with a side salad, rice and a choice of a side. I had the squash zucchini with red peppers. Had a couple local IPAs to wash down my meal. Overall, everything was very good.
The food was absolutely amazing! We got great recommendations from our server Deborah and Lonnie did a great job with everything!!
Great food, great staff, very friendly. Took my family there for my daughter's 30th birthday lunch. Food was fresh and delicious. Only had a couple of not great things. #1 we were asked which my daughter would like for her birthday dessert, we picked the peanut butter brownie. It was delicious, but they charged us for it. Usually when they offer something like that, it's usually free (maybe they charged by mistake). We also ordered a blueberry cobbler. Again it was delicious, but tiny for $12. Staff was great, they even let my other daughter order off the dinner menu even though it was lunchtime. Overall excellent, 5 stars, we will be back, highly recommend!
We went to this restaurant based on the Trip Advisor reviews while traveling in Florida. It is a small restaurant in a moderate strip mall. We were looking for something different and this fusion restaurant was just that. Our waitress Debbie was just a delight and very personable. Lonnie dropped buy to say hello and give us some advise about Cape Canaveral launches. I had the root beer glazed pork chop and my wife had the chicken pesto pasta. Both were delicious. I would highly recommend this mid priced delight.
My family and I decided to stop by in order to get a last glimpse of the lights. We were a rather large group but they easily accommodated us by setting a couple of tables together outside. It was such a beautiful spot with the holiday lights. The menu had something for everyone. I decided to stick with the salmon but the pasta dishes were a hit with my family.
