This was my first time visiting the restaurant and the food was absolutely amazing and the service was incredible. They were nice enough to take us last minute before closing and normally some places would not do this but they were so welcoming! Our server was Amy who was so polite and right on point with everything! I ordered the Paste Verde and it was a chefsKiss! I would recommend this place if you’re in the mood for Italian or pizza.
Stopped in for lunch and was served the worst slice I could ever expect from here. Ordered 2 slices and a drink. The slices were overcooked. I was expecting something way different than I received. I've had perfect dinners here but lunch not so well. The waitress offered to have two more slices cooked but I just didn't have the time. The restaurant was not busy at all. Just don't bring nasty slices to the table in the first place.
We drove 90 minutes to meet friends here for a birthday dinner, we didn't choose it. What a GEM! great ambience, great staff, fantastic service and the food was spectacular. Had a quick chat with the owner on the way out the door and kindly asked him to open one in our area.We'll definitely be making an effort to swing in any time we're nearby. Love these authentic family owned and operated places.
Ordered some pies for the kids after their musical at Lake Mary Legally Blonde. The pizza was a hit. We ordered cheese and pepperoni. Usually there would be some Pizza left but not this time. They did an amazing job and love the taste. The crust was perfect too. Would recommend, at least for pizza.
We have been going to Giovanni’s for several years now. The food is wonderful—their sauce is the best, very flavorful and rich so every dish is amazing. Their pizza is great, garlic bread is wonderful. Their house dressing for the salads is the best I have ever had! Good portions, reasonably priced. Service is great.
I like to come here for lunch, delicious food and fair price. I highly recommend their pasta it’s so delicious that’s why I even forget to take a picture! Friendly service and will be back for sure!
I was looking to find a good Italian restaurant with authentic pizza when my boyfriend suggested Giovannis! I am so happy he took me there, the atmosphere was very welcoming. We sat at the bar, where Annemarie greeted us immediately and helped me select a Cabernet. We shared a Cesar salad (homemade dressing) which was amazing and tried the Giovannis special (pizza) which was done to perfection! Also had a chance to meet Joe (owner) who was extremely friendly and genuinely appreciated our business. Overall, if you are looking for a friendly, neighborhood Italian establishment with a great atmosphere and friendly staff I would highly recommend Giovanni’s.
Wow oh wow. I have been looking for an amazing pizza place and this is it. Order 2 specialty pizzas, antipasti salad, a Italian sub, and stuffed shells. The best Italian food i have found in Central fl so far!!!! You found a permanent customer!
Wow! What a great little Italian restaurant. This is a must if you are in the area. We were in town for 3 nights on business and ate here 2 of the nights. I met the owner Joe as he was hand-tossing pizzas. He is a great guy and it shows in all aspects of his restaurant. Our waitress Elizabeth was just wonderful and charming and our food both nights was delicious! I would highly recommend this terrific restaurant!
OMG!!!!!!this is our first time dining at Giovanni's. The service was authentically amazing. Tim (Manager) personally served our table and made my husband and I feel like we were the most important couple dining. We received personal individual attention, the dining suggestions were on point with what we were thinking, and not to mention the FOOD was incredibly good, and the portions were eye popping. I usually don't give 5 stars for a review because no one is perfect but in this cases since the service was so personally amazing, I think it well earned for the 5 stars. Listen folks!!!!!!!!please when you are hungry or just want drinks and appetizers with a 5 star restaurant that treats you like a "regular", and personally knows you. Please visit Giovanni's in Lake Mary, my husband and I were beyond impressed with the service, food, and the clean environment. The table staff (bus tables) were on point, fast and clean. We will be back real soon!!!! Thank again Tim for the speechless service.
