Never had a bad experience with delivery (3rd party), take-out, or dining in. I would not recommend getting a Mule. The ginger beer they use tastes like soap. Stick to the standard sports bar drinks and you'll be fine. Food is often a surprise because you don't expect to be as good as it is. The smothered blackened grilled chicken entree is a great example. Peak times there will be a wait, so plan ahead.
My favorite wings and they have the best salads. I was surprised by their bourbon selection as well.
A very nice "laid back" atmosphere. The staff is attentive and the food is good. It was a good 1st experience at this sports bar.
We didn't eat there but the menu was diverse and it looked good.. Definitely a sports bar type set up. A good place for an ice cold beverage!
Hate to say I was less than impressed with my Uber ears order for pick up. No one is there to greet and all the staff were in the back so no one to ask anyone questions. I thought it was fine and I’d just call. So I called and they said it was sitting in a table “somewhere.” I walked around looking like a fool back and forth through the restaurant while other guest stared at me. Finally just waited at a table until a waiter came out and greeted me. In which she pointed vaguely saying it was in the table and walked into the kitchen. This place must be thriving off current customers and has no interest in new comers. I don’t think ill be returning due to lack of customer service. The food was decent but a bit pricey for the items listen and lack of courtesy to others.
Visiting from Chicago, love this place! We played music bingo and met some great new friends! Greatl place to hang out and have drinks. We did not eat so cannot comment on the food.
Bad experience with the manager. Waitress made a mistake on accurately giving us the drink specials. Told us that “crown royal was 3 dollar for a double. Many of my friends and I ordered these drinks that were explained to us to be 3 dollars. Talked with the manager and I was willing to pay for all of the charges but the ones that were clearly miscommunicated to me and the manager snatches my receipt out of my hand, became very aggressive, with me, and walked off saying that I just wanted everything for free like I wasn’t willing to pay for it. Never going back and the manager needs to have better customer service skills when dealing with a customer who never was aggressive or angry with him or the situation in the first place.
3.50 for a taco on taco Tuesday. Wow!!Taco Bell does better than this.
I visit Lake Mary once a year (always during the NFL Wildcard weekend) and I always make it a point to have dinner at Friendly Confines. It is the perfect place with the best atmosphere to watch a game, inside or out on the porch. This year I left my credit card on the table before flying home and the wonderful staff mailed it back to me, truly living up to their name. Can't wait to go back next year!
been coming to this bar/restaurant for over 5 years and one night me and buddy were accused of playing inappropriate videos on there tv. no bartender wanted to serve us after that and when we talk to the manager he absolutely doesn’t care. there excuse is we aren’t regulars like everyone else in the bar (also them finding out it was someone with a samsung and all of us having iphones and meanwhile guy next to us vouching for us, super dissappointed, never coming here again due to staff and manager
