My husband and I went to Filomena’s today for lunch. We had the pork wingsand medium deluxe calzone which had ricotta and mozzarella cheese in it. The food was delicious. One of the best calzones I have had (crunchy and perfectly cooked crust and tasty and abundant fillings-see pic). The medium size was huge (we shared it and had leftovers as well since we had the pork wings too). I would definitely recommend Filomena’s and we will be back soon! Great, friendly service too!
Update: I should've waited for my order to arrive before posting my initial review. Our first experience was so good but this time around it was awful and disappointing. Everything was unbelievably bland. The tomatoes on the margherita pizza were sliced over a half inch thick, making a watery, soggy, tasteless mess. The tomato bisque was only edible after I added season salt, basil, and garlic. The homemade lemon dressing was all oil no lemon (not even olive oil) so the Greek salad just fell flat-- and also needed salt. I'm not sure if this is an isolated incident or if the tasty calzone from our first order was a fluke, but I'm not sure if we'll give them another shot.Food is great but it took them over an hour to confirm my DoorDash order before even starting to prepare it! If I had a limited lunch hour I would've canceled this order sooner. It seems they haven't mastered online ordering because their hours of availability are inconsistent and they're on limited platforms. The food is tasty so we'll see if we continue to order from them despite significant inconveniences. Very frustrating.
The garlic knots were delicious and the Italian dressing on the house salad was very good.The spaghetti with marinara was kind of bland, but other people in my party said their food was good.My two complaints relate to ordering and customer service. We placed an order for pickup through their website and we were charged a fee for ordering online. Customers shouldn’t be penalized for placing an order through your website online.Our order was missing an appetizer. I called the restaurant to request a refund since we wouldn’t be driving back for an order of mozzarella sticks. I was put on hold for almost 10 minutes and hung up.I don’t think I’d go out of my way to return.
Food was good but, Not as easy as other Pizzerias to order online. Plus why should a customer pay a $1.50 to place an order, after all when someone places an order online you job is easier no one has to take the order on the phone.Plus The only way to see all of the extras for a pizza is to go on the order on the web page.

Best authentic NY-style Italian in Central Florida - hands down. Incredible value & out-of-this-world portions. No matter if you have a taste for pizza, calzone, pasta, chicken, seafood - Filomena's has what you're after and more. Oh, and the drink specials & desserts?! Delicious. Spread the word on Filomena's, everybody! :)

Phenomenal garlic knots! We have always struggled to find good pizza in Florida and their pizza was really good. The garlic knots stole the show though.
