We come to Sonny’s every time we come to Florida. It’s a childhood favorite of my husband’s. Unfortunately it’s been a few years since we’ve been able to travel, and things have changed. We noticed the menu is notably smaller, lots of sandwiches but light on individual meals. I ordered the sliced pork meal with coleslaw, green beans, and cornbread. It was tasty but not as good as I remember. Husband ordered the Triple Hog sandwich, which he liked even though he had specified a bun for it instead of garlic bread. He got fries and beans for sides which he enjoyed. Our server, Jenifer, was friendly. A beer we didn’t order ended up on our ticket by mistake, but she handled it immediately and with good humor. I’m sure we’ll be in again next time we pass by.
We visit Sonny's a lot wherever we happen to be. This particular Sunny's is in our hometown but on this visit it was just average. The place had some trash on the floor under tables and had the overall appearance that it needed a good cleaning. I ordered the baby back ribs and they weren't very meaty. The membrane was left on. A rookie move. Our meal came out to us in a timely manner. My wife ordered the loaded tater tots. We had to wait a long time for our check and to go box. I think our server was eating his dinner is why they kind of lost contact with us. I'm not sure I'll come back to the Sonny's. The one in Port Orange is the best Sunny's we've ever been to.Update. We returned at the urging of the regional manager. This time it was better. I ordered the baby back ribs and they were good. My wife ordered the sampler. They brought it out with white meat when she ordered dark. They said they were out of dark. My wife exchanged it for turkey and they magically found some dark meat. All in all a much better experience.
First time here. We were just passing by and decided to stop for a quick lunch. Place was clean. Food was fresh and very yummy. Our server was nice and attentive.
Great food with fast service
Great bbq, sauces, and these amazing little egg roll appetizers the waitress recommended. Our waitress was so friendly and wonderful! I wish I could remember her name bc she deserves to be recognized as top notch and genuinely friendly great person! Been there a very long time.

Sooo good!!! You can tell they smoke their own meats. We pulled off for a quick drive through lunch. It was fast, piping hot and delicious! Can’t wait to stop again!! Staff were super nice and helpful also!
Stopped in for an early dinner. The food was amazing, the service was awesome, and the price was very reasonable. We will absolutely go again when we have the opportunity.
I ordered online tonight and they told me it would be a 60 min wait for my food to be ready. I ordered fried pickles with my food and when i received my food the fried pickles were extremely soggy so i went in and asked them to make me some fresh ones and gave them back the soggy ones. I waited for them to make the new ones, i got back in my car and checked them and they literally put the soggy ones back in the fryer and gave them back to me !! They were still soggy on the inside and dark brown on the outside very disappointed ?
