Big Sal!!! Wow that's a great twist on pizza. There was so much to pick from but we got the chicken Caesar salad (which was big enough for 2-3) and the Big Sal pizza which is described as a pizza topped with a pizza. The ingredients were fresh and fantastic. The meat in this pie was spot on. I don't know if it had a butter garlic basting after cooking but man it was fantastic. My only regret was I didn't get the chocolate cake but it looked like quite possibly the greatest looking thing ever. Nice atmosphere, clean. The staff was a lot of fun and glad we found the spot on our way to Orlando. Sure wish I got that cake... Maybe on the ride home.
To be fair I really enjoyed the crust of the pizza large slices the pizza was a more artisan than a pizza hut the salad seemed fresh but their desserts are not fresh. That seems to be an easy fix with better planning and ordering. The pie had not been checked and was moldy in the window the cookies had a flavor that can only be described as stale and a hint of death. The dessert did not look like it was made there so that is why I am giving them 3 stars the pizza was good and a more unique flavor. We were traveling and made a pack to only eat at restaurants we can't find in our home state.
7.8.22 In from out of town. Ok for value. But the cheese bread was "off the chain" good!!! Also got a salad, that was good. Bet their pizza is great. I'll be back next week and let everyone know!
Stopped for lunch today on travel from Houston. Husband had garden salad and 1/2 of Godfather sub and I had sub with ham salami provolone. Both subs had lettuce tomato etc. Delicious bread! Fresh lettuce etc. Subs were toasted. Would definitely stop again if in area.
We absolutely love the sandwiches from here, a must try! The Italian sandwich is our favorite and the customer service is awesome! Highly recommend! Sam is fantastic!
I found out that Tony works here now after he got fired for letting a underage girl drink at the bar at Frankie’s place this disgust me. After Tony got fired from Frankie’s Place the pizzas are way better I recommend Frankie’s Place in Lake City over the Deli now
The food is very good, the staff is always super nice, and they have the most handsome little waiter, named Meatball, to keep you company while you eat on the patio. He definitely won't try to steal a tip from your plate... ❤️

Last night was the last time we will eat at Sals. Tried to be a loyal customer but can’t pay $50 for a $25.00 meal at best. Tried pointing out to the cook on one occasion that the Chicken Parm was floating in water and she snapped at me and said I told her this already. Time and time again, still soaking wet Chicken Parm. Last night I ordered a big salad and we decided to try the pizza…. Big mistake. The big salad was boring, lettuce, onions sliced so thin you can’t even spear them with your fork, some black olives, with a few slices of tomato. The pizza was horrible, wet super thin crust that couldn’t support the toppings, it sloughed off like rotting flesh to revile a thin crust that looks like skin. I immediately wanted to hurl just from the smell, I feel sorry for the garbage can that was forced to eat the rest of that pizza. My bill was $48.00 for a boring salad and I disgusting pizza. Save your money, eat at Piesanos Stone Fire Pizza, best Italian food, great price.Sorry Miss Cook, never give a loyal customer that is trying to help you better your cooking and attitude, your food sucks!
