Best brisket we ever had and the collard greens and green beans were locally fresh and also the best we ever had!
So I've never actually been in the restaurant itself, but I always joke about how many times the building itself has changed businesses over the years, so I tend to wait to try anything that moves in there. This time was by complete accident, a friend got catering at work and brought me a bunch. After my first bite of reheated sliced beef I had to ask where it came from because it was delicious! I'm a picky southerner when it comes to my coleslaw too and they make some dang good slaw there, I had to force myself to save some just to try it on other stuff. But the entire plate I had reminded me of a cookout but with way way more flavor, they definitely kicked me in the mouth with that. This place might hopefully stay around for a while ?
Our first time. Excellent BBQ sauce and pulled pork. NO FAT! Great homemade slaw and potato salad. We’ll be back for sure!
Currently my favorite local bbq. Fantastic brisket. Pulled or sliced pork. Chicken and turkey are very good as well. Fried pickles are great, as well as their ranch dressing. Could do better on the salads. Good side menu and options for everyone.
I had a brisket plate with collards and green beans. The brisket was melt in your mouth goodness and I loved the green beans! The collards were also good but I love green beans so when they are good they steal the show. This is my first visit that came about through multiple recommendations from family and friends. This place did not disappoint! The food was very good, the service was freindly, and I was pleasantly surprised by the inside. The outisde looks like it might be an older establishment but inside was cozy and had fun decor. I came at lunch time on a very rainy day and almost did not stop in because despite the rain the parking lot was full! Due to all the recommendations I decided to take the chance and found there was plenty of room once inside. Always speaks good of a place if even in a good rain the parking lot is full. I will be coming back; oh and dont forget to sign the wall on your way out! Side note: I took the inside picture at the end of the lunch rush so it looks empty but was full enough during lunch.
My girlfriend took us here for lunch to fuel up for the errands we had to run yesterday and we loved it! Our server turned out to be an early childhood of mine, so catching up with her after all these years was a real treat on top of having a large quality meal at an even better price.It's hard deciding which part of the meal was the best, as the entirety was made to perfection and is brought together perfectly by the sauces. The leftovers are about to make for a good Breakfast!We're definitely going to be coming here again soon!
5 for the sweet potato fries and the genuinely happy hostess/waitress. The brisket was super tender and very flavorful though only moist, I like mine juicy. Will definitely return to sample other items on the MENU.
Tried this place for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. All of the food was amazing, not a single complaint. Our waitress, Chelsea, was fantastic as well. Definitely will return soon!
My husband and I just tried this place. We both got a 2 Way plate. Fast, friendly service. Food was good, but the ribs were tough. We would come back and would also recommend this establishment.
Absolutely delicious food! Every thing I try is better than the next. High quality ingredients. Good presentation. Location is good but building is a bit ugly. (Only reason for 4 stars) Totally not the businesses fault, as its a used building. They are improving more and more by the day.
