Today my husband and I got to go out on a much needed date lunch. I ordered the steak sandwich, and my husband ordered the outlaw ribeye. While I like my steak rare, my sandwich was inedible as a sandwich, since I couldn't bite through it. My husband gave me the best parts of his. I say best parts because his steak wasn't charred, it was burnt. I love this restaurant t, but date nights are hard to find.
Alexis was our server she was absolutely ? amazing ! Drinks were out faster we had the stuffed mushroom appetizer it was phenomenal! She asked if we wanted to try our steaks parm crusted and that was a game changer. I almost had to ask her for the recipe mouth is still watering. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Will be back for the exquisite service and the delightful food
Everyone (10 of us) received our meal except my husband. He ordered a medium rare steak with baked potato. We finally asked the waitress, she apologized and said if it was up sitting, it would probably be overcooked at that point but she would ask for a new plate to be prepared. At that point everyone else was pretty much done with our food so my husband opted to not eat.
Been here 3 times. Food was EXCELLENT. SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE EACH TIME W 3 DIFFERENT SERVERS!! I'm talking, no refills of drinks, asking for something and not getting it, waiting at the table for 11 min before even being acknowledged! And no they were not busy because it was before the dinner rush about 4:30 and yes they had plenty of servers. I wouldn't even say anything but three times right in a row I think that this might be my unlucky place even though I like the food the service ruins it.
I visited Longhorn Steakhouse in Lake City this past Thursday and had a great experience! As we walked in, the hostess’ opened the doors for us, and welcomed us with a smile. There were four of us and we were seated right away (even though it was prime dinner time). Our table was very clean. The waitress immediately walked over with a plate of bread and requested our drink orders. She returned in a timely fashion with our drinks and requested our entree orders. She was very helpful, and patient as we chose our entree and sides. She even made a suggestion for what appetizer to order. We all ordered steaks, and they were out in less than 30 minutes. I hadn’t even gotten done with my salad when all of them came out. Even though it was fast, each steak was cooked to our satisfaction, and the sides were delicious as well! The presentation of the food was professional and appealing. If you’re looking for reasonably priced appetizers, drinks, steaks and sides Longhorn is the place for you. I highly recommend the sirloin steak, and spicy chicken bites for an appetizer. Great flavor in both dishes! The establishment in Lake City is clean, fast, and has a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Longhorn is a great place for a date night, or any family occasion!
The staff is outstanding. They all help eachother out and they have a good team. Management definitely has it figured out here. The food was very good. I decided on the steak sandwich and it was tender and seasoned well. My husband got a steak and he loved it. You almost could have cut it with the fork.
As always good food, good service and during lunch hour it would be good to tell people about the new $7.99 lunch they are offering. Their burgers are excellent choice for lunch. Best steaks in town

We were seated promptly and served by a very nice wait person. The food was great and more than we could eat.
