Actually we were disappointed with our take out breakfast. Although the food was good taste wise, the portions were very very small as if for a child's plate. And my beloved hash browns were sadly missing! It's a shame to get all the way home be anxiously tearing into the bags and find food servings small and missing - and there's NO WAY I'M DRIVING 22 miles round trip to see the manager about the condition of my order! Tired and hungry from work we just sit back and dream of the wonderful service we would have gotten INSIDE the usually great IHOP! Pure disappointment to the core cause Nobody does it Better than IHOP!! Of course we will continue to be happy patrons of our beloved ? IHOP, we just won't make the mistake of trying another take out order, the disappointment is too great and just not worth it. If you want a fabulous breakfast any time, you MUST go to IHOP, there's none better for price and quality. See you there ? Blankenship
My husband and I stopped in this easy in/out to I-75 … very convenient and has been best I-Hop weve been since all the virus craziness.. our waitress Hope… woowww great and very friendly and helpful.. she was all over anytime we needed anything… while not be annoying either.The Food .. we had the big breakfast Eggs, over easy, hash brown and 3 meats. Plus french toast. Everything came perfectly cooked.. not burned. What an awesome experience. We hardly waited 5 minutes and it was 12:05 noon . Anytime were headed to out 2nd home. We will stop here. Thanks Hope.
Our waitress was new but had a beautiful personality and presence. The hash browns were awesome
I understand that everyone is short on help but the service and food doesn't have to be that bad. We are locals and have went 5 or 6 times in the past few months its the same poor service and food every time we go.
The service is really slow, they are heavily understaffed. I had to wait around 8 minutes for my sibling to get his food. My cali roasted melt came without avocado and the avocado they gave me looked really old. The tables are very messy and they only clean them when need to be used. The utensils look dirty as well. Im from houston and the service here cannot compare.
Lake City IHOP is becoming a much better place to get breakfast. Food places in this town are not easy to find where service and food quality are both on par and good. As they build back staff from issue with the pandemic, they are doing a great job handling the demand for good food. When me and my family attended our food was on time we got seated as fast as there was room and everything was very on point. We had manager Whitney stop by the table her up beat personality and customer service skills show she is helping to take this place in the correct direction. Highly recommended option for a good breakfast in this town.
Stopped by for brunch and was very impressed with staff, cleanliness, and management. Our server was great, and very attentive. Even one of the managers Whitney was very sweet and checked on everyone around the restaurant as we were dining. Food was A++++++. It was a wonderful experience. 10/10 would recommend!
Don’t do it … keep driving. Super slow terrible service. Had plenty of staff, just doing a lot of walking around. I don’t know how many times they all stepped over this spoon on the floor. One of them finally kicked it and it went sailing across the floor near us. Still laying there when we left.
Today my son,grandson, and myself went to IHOP in Lake City and it was the WORST I mean WORST service & food I have ever gotten from an IHOP. After waiting for a very long time to get our food which was only sausage gravy and biscuitshashbrowns and eggs. My food was stone cold and the biscuits were like rubber. My son had the same issue. However, my grandson had a cheeseburger and he said his was good. Great I thought. I am not one to complain about food but when the server FINALLY came around I explained to her the problem & she was terribly rude. I had asked her to please warm it up for us & she acted put out over the request but took our plates to the cook and I have no idea what she said to him but he just started laughing. This again was rude and very unprofessional. When she brought the plates back to us once again the food was not even a little warm. I got VERY VERY upset and went to pay and ended up paying $40 for a cheeseburger since that was the only thing that was eaten. Will NEVER EVER go there again...unprofessional staff and we were the ONLY customers in the place!! Terrible service as well as food!!! Don't waste your money!
We Have stopped into this Ihop many times traveling threw. I have to say our food is always amazing. I never have a problem. Even when short staffed and items they can't get missing serves is amazing. I always get 1 of 3 servers. Shay, Brandy, or Mary. Me and my family love all 3. Shay is quick on her feet. Brandy is great with the kids. And Mary is a blast my wife loves her accent. Everyone always has a smile on their faces. We just love the environment
