Fantastic restaurant, right off I-75 and plenty of large RV parking. We had the Cuban Pork and rack of Ribs, both were excellent. What really wowed me were the mixed vegetables, they are equally as good or better than the ones you would find in a top notch restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. Service was outstanding too. You wont be disappointed with this stop.
i asked the bar grandma what was good she said ribs i asked her again if they good she said they fall of the bone lol ? ,,, i got the full slab lol with side mashed and salted vegetables, didn’t even touch em , well she forgot to mention they fry the ribs to crisp in a deep fryer,,, Nasty DO NOT GET ribs , and please whoever is the cook. ,,, bro do not Fry RIBs .
Just ate the steak there. Absolutely wonderful food. The blonde waitress, got a couple tattoos was just absolutely wonderful. I instantly fell in love with her. She was super sweet and a stunning smile. Even though she wasn't serving me, she still went out of her way to ensure I was enjoying my visit. Between the food and that beauty, not only will I visit again, but I will literally go out of my way as much as possible to visit again. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was great. The ONLY downside was they were out of several top end items on the menu. Ik there is a shortage in supply but it made it difficult narrowing a meal that I really wanted. But I look forward to my next visit!
I stayed at the TA for 4 days and ate at this restaurant 3 times, and when I tell that this restaurant was good, it was good. The waitresses were nice and friendly and the food was delicious, every entrée that I ate was cooked to perfection and I would definitely suggest stopping here if you're in Lake City, FL area
It took an hour to get our food from the time we arrived. And the food was only adequate. If you are pressed for time go elsewhere.
I've been everywhere and I've eaten pizza at countless restaurants across the nation and this is by far the freshest, fastest, best tasting wood fired brick oven pizza I've had anywhere. If I could add video I would show you that it was still steaming when I opened the box. It was so hot and fresh that I had to use two hands to keep the cheese and toppings from sliding off. And don't even get me started on the crust, it was so crispy and crunchy but just melts in your mouth. It smells a little smokey inside but that's just because of the real wood fired brick oven. I drive for a living and this will now be a must stop location any time I come to Florida. The staff are very friendly and provide exceptional service. There is fresh grated parmesan, crust red pepper, and Italian herbs to put on your pizza. This place has ruined truck stop pizza for me because it was so good I simply won't eat pizza at Flying J anymore because it would taste like cardboard compared to this amazing wood fired brick oven pizza. Do yourself a favor and eat here.
I don't normally stop in truckstop bars but I made an exception tonight because the holidays are coming and I've had a good year.I was greeted by Anna and Amber at the TA in Lake City Florida. They made me feel at home. They were receptive and responsive to my needs. I felt comfortable and at home in an environment I am not familiar with. I greatly appreciate the warm acceptance and hospitality I received.I highly recommend spending an evening with these girls, you'll be glad you did.
One of my regular spot to have good food and a cold one. I recommend this place, I give it a 10/10 for sure! I have always received impeccable service from all the staff there. Us truckers are very thankful for a spot to actually sit down and have a meal and drink. Thank you Jeff for providing us a place to relax.
I would give them zero stars but it’s not an option. My wife and children and I used to love going here before they got new staff. Now we will not be going back. I hope the management makes a change soon or they’re going to lose all their loyal customers that love this place so much.
