We have gone to Trails End for many years and have taken many friends and family. We were extremely disappointed in the family style . We hope they go back to the buffet so that we can come back. For now we just go to Boma.

I was hesitant at first to try this again due to the bad reviews. This was a huge hit for our family. The food and service was outstanding. We had Sergio and Alex, awesome servers! The salad, sides, and meat were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. We are from the south and this was a solid meal for our family. The price was very reasonable as well. The ambiance is what you would expect for a restaurant at Fort Wilderness. We will definitely come back. Love the family style experience!

Food was good, not Texas brisket, Carolina pulled pork or Nashville dry rub smoked chicken but good. Sides where very good and fresh. Salad was fresh and vinegrette dressing was very nice and lite. Over all its not cheap as it is one price.. but for Disney was not outrageous and is all you care to eat and as usual was very catering (as usual) to our grandson's food allergies.

Boy oh boy was this meal great! It was served family-style, which was very convenient. Our server was Phillipe from Montreal, Canada. He was super friendly, and took great care of us! Service was quick and frequent, but not so often that you’re constantly making orders through mouthfuls. It was a great way to start our trip!

Huge portions for breakfast and dinner! Unfortunately cannot take leftovers though.

I have been coming to Trail's End Restaurant for a few years, in my opinion one of the few Disney Restaurants that please all member of my family and the food for the most part is good. I understand that things have changed in the restaurant, it is no longer a Buffet Style meal, it has now become a family style setting. No Problem, some of my favorite items (fried chicken and mac n cheese) were not part of the menu, no problem...Once we realize all of this and tried to cancel our reservation within the time allowed we were unable to. We tried calling and the wait time for the call was 2 hours. We tried going through the chat in the My Disney App, and didnt get a response ever.. so we decided to go ahead and eat there anyway. second problem, my son does not eat anything from the menu, so we wanted to order a pizza. We've done this numerous times, with no problem. But apparently that is not allowed anymore. ok, so we tried to get take out and then order the pizza, not allowed. I tried to order the pizza myself, not allowed. So then I didn't see any other choice to but leave. We told the server we were leaving. We spoke to the manager and he said we would still be charged the penalty fee ($10 a person), which I think its unfair. They were not willing to accommodate us at all. Not even with the take out meal. I told the manager that I've always placed an order for a pizza in the past and it hasn't been a problem. His reply to me was " Well, I wasn't here in the past". Not very Disney like. The entire experience was not what I believe Disney to be.

The food was really good. The service was a bit on the slower side but we were told at the beginning of the meal this would happen because of the extra allergens we have in our party. To that point they handled the gluten-free and dairy-free allergens really well. The salad at the beginning was good. They had a bacon vinaigrette that was very tasty. The main course consisted of deliciously smoked food. The desserts were delicious.Overall I would recommend this place. Especially here in Disney, it was good food and one of the cheaper places to eat.

The food was a lot for the price. Bread basket was fresh, warm, and tasty. The yogurt dish was fruity, but not a fan of yogurt. The skillet was a lot of choices...Overall good, felt like you were at a wild west establishment.

$19.99 cheapest breakfast buffet on Disney property. Kinda of a trek to get here. Boats run from magic kingdom and drop you off right in front of trails end. Or park near front entrance of fort wilderness campsites and take internal bus.

For the price it’s not a bad place to eat. The rolls they bring out with the strawberry butter are delicious. However the rest of the food is just average. The eggs were powdered and not good. Everything tasted like it was from a box or something you get at your local store and unfreeze. You do get to eat as much as you want and the coffee/juice/drinks are all included in the price. The service was slow and we finally just had to ask the server to leave us a pot of coffee because it was taking so long to get refills. The cups are small and you can drink the whole thing in a few drinks. The atmosphere is fun. It’s what you would expect from a campground. Simple and rustic. You even have to leave and go outside for the bathrooms.Overall though, the price reflects what you get. It’s hard to find anywhere that offers that much food for so cheap at Disney property. I would go back if I was just looking for something simple and cheap.* a note for people not staying at the campground. You have to take a bus to the Settlement from the main parking area. Any of the buses not going to Magic Kingdom will get you there. It adds about 15 minutes to your time so make sure you account for that when booking your reservation time. We almost missed ours.
