Fast service and I like the pretzels here better than anywhere else in the park
Great place to stop for a quick snack (they've got Mickey pretzels) and a beverage for the kids and the adults. They do not have Golden Monkey any longer as a previous menu pic showed. The servers were all very friendly. This makes for a great spot to wait for your party if you don't want to go on Everest.
The Thirsty River Bar helped make a great day!It was our first visit to Disney, we were three days in, and our kids were 4 and 5 and completely overwhelmed with every single experience. We'd been waiting for the parade to start and it started to rain. Our kids were miserable and crying. We were about to attempt to leave the park when the parade blocked us from doing so. My husband spotted the Thirsty River Bar and came back with two of the most refreshing and amazing frozen drinks. Our kids were then mesmerized by the engaging parade and we were all smiling by the time we left the park.It's a great pit-stop in Animal Kingdom.

Gina was friendly and gave great eye contact. She suggested the Durban margarita. Strongly recommend. Flavorful and refreshing on a hot day in Florida!
To find this small beer and cocktail bar was a huge surprise and a life saver. Hot day, Everest is closed... the best thing to do is having a cool refreshing beer. We had Old Elephant which was great. If this bar was in my neighborhood, i'd be there every week!
