After nearly 2 weeks in Walt Disney World, this was miles above the rest for quality and service. Great food, great drink, great atmosphere and Kristin was lovely and great with the kids. Would glady go again.
Four of us ate here on a weekday evening. We booked via the Disney app, and we seated within 5 minutes of checking in.This was a fun restaurant with entertaining decor. It's a bit like the dinosaur themed restaurant at Disney Springs. The food was good, and we didn't feel like we were crammed in. There was a lot of space between tables.
There was a good selection of choices on the menu. Our waiter was very inexperienced, he couldn't open a bottle of wine, I guess he was learning. The food is overpriced but tasty.
The experience is a must. You have to see this in person.Great food I got the seafood platter.14 people in our party so don't take my bill as a must. You can probably get a nice dish for 25$ a person.
Volacanoooooooo! It’s really good. I have never had anything bad at a Rainforest Cafe. This lived up to the standard. The food was good and it came out very quickly. We were celebrating a birthday and got a Volcano Cake. They were very entertaining and jovial. Great for kids too.
After a long day at Animal Kingdom, we had an excellent experience at The Rainforest Cafe. Of course the atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. Everyone in my party had plenty to eat, no one had any issues. Service was spot on. Highly recommendable!
*They almost killed my child* If this saves one family then I’ll be grateful— my daughter has severe allergies to wheat and dairy (anaphylactic reaction). They’re supposed to be an allergy friendly restaurant. I made the staff and manager, Gordon, aware of this situation when I booked the reservation, upon checking in, and spoke directly to Gordon at our table and he took our order down personally. We ordered my daughter the kids hot dog meal and we’re told it would be wheat free and dairy free meal. The order came out by staff and they specifically said “allergy order.” She started eating it and after several bites I grabbed the bun and my heart sank. It was a regular hot dog bun. Paramedics were called, she was given Epi and taken to the local ER and spent the day there. Our entire day at AK was ruined and the entire rest of our week I was nervous and furious and upset. I lost sleep over this event. I had to call the general manager who told me corporate would call — and now I get the pleasure of sending them all the documents so they can “review” it before deciding if they’ll pay the medical bills. We did not get to eat that day at all BUT NO one from the restaurant offered ANYTHING to my daughter or my family to show any care whatsoever. Just an “I’m sorry” — I’ve seen people get more from being disappointed with how their food is cooked. They are responsible for sending her to the hospital when it was supposed to be a magical vacation. Please do not eat here especially if you have any food allergies.
I don't usually write reviews so negative, but this place was pretty disappointing. The atmosphere doesn't make up for the low quality of the food in my opinion. We ordered the Taste Of The Islands plate and the Volcanic Cobb Salad, but ended up splitting the salad because the seafood plate was just... sad. The "dynamite scallops and shrimp" was just seafood chunks in lukewarm water, with a layer of orange powder on top. The only enjoyable item on the plate was the Caribbean Coconut Shrimp. Everything else was mushy and unseasoned. Not worth the price, or the long time it took after we ordered.
Great food and service, excellent waiters! I enjoyed the decoration, the fish tanks, There's a shop adjacent to the restaurant. With wide selection of choices.
great service, food and drinks
