Overall the food tasted good, but it was not worth what they charge you. First off, if you want chips and salsa you have to pay for it -- something that EVERY other Mexican restaurant offers at no extra cost. My steak had way too much fat on it and I had to trim it all off.We sat in the evening and were able to watch harmonious though the windows which was nice . But as soon as the show ended the server cleared the food off our table and didn't ask if we were done eating. We just sat there confused at what was happening. At least he didn't take our drinks.I ate at two sit down restaurants at Epcot during this visit and based on both experiences I wouldn't recommend spending twice what the meal is worth. Find a restaurant outside of the park for a better value.

If you want a quick review, it's worth it. The food is great, the restaurant was clean, theming is awesome, the drinks were fantastic, and the service is that of a fine dining establishment. Longer review: This dining experience occurred during May 2022 at dusk. Food 4/5: We started with the Guacamole ($13) and shared a Sopa Azteca ($12). The guacamole was interesting, it had mange and pumpkin seeds. Instead of chips, it was served with chicharrones that had a drizzle of salsa valentina (a little spicy). It's a big amount, good enough to share between 2-3 people. The soup was the highlight. Great presentation, so much flavor, and so filling. We were able to share the soup between two people. If you are between the two, go with the soup. For dinner, my wife and I shared the Ribeye tacos ($30). It came with 4 tortillas and we each made two tacos. It was delicious. For dessert, we shared the Tres Leche de Horchata ($10), it was very sweet, but a little dry, you needed to soak it up in the sauce. Customer service 5/5: Our waiter was named Manuel. He killed it. He must of checked-in on us 10 times during the entire dining experience. He made excellent dinner recommendations, kept our water full, and was just so kind. We were not in a rush and he brought everything out a great pace. We didn't feel rushed and we just enjoyed our time. Real professional Price 3/5: This is a sit-down restaurant in a Disney theme park. Everything is going to be overpriced. The good news is, the food here is actually pretty dang good. The theming is really neat and the wait staff is professional. The drinks are strong and tasty. I feel like you are getting your money's worth for the food. The drinks are a little overpriced. Cleanliness 4/5: No trash on the floor, a party would get up and leave, the wait staff would clean the table, replace the tablecloth, and place the new dinnerware. Glasses were clean, plates were clean, the restaurant smelled wonderful. Theming 4/5: Everyone wants to sit as close as possible to the pyramid. We had a late reservation and the restaurant was at maybe 50% capacity. Our table was extremely close to the pyramid. I loved it, I can see how sitting further away from the pyramid and closer to the marketplace would be an issue (lots of noise), fortunately for me, I was not in this predicament (just be aware of this). Drinks 4/5: Again, you are inside a sit-down restaurant at a Disney theme park. Be ready to pay those Disney prices. I had the La Cava Avocado ($17) and a Blood Orange ($17). My wife had the San Angel Inn Margarita ($23) and the Cucumber ($15). The drinks were perfect. Not too sweet, and just the right amount of alcohol. We were feeling good. The presentation was nice. This rating is just for the quality of the drinks, not the pricing. Overall rating 24/30 or 4 stars

I was making a day trip to Epcot. I made a reservation, for a late lunch, at La Hacienda de San Angel. The restaurant was a nice respite on a hot day. I couldn't get the QR code to work on my phone. I was not offered a menu. Instead, I was given a quick run through of the entrees, just the names, no other offering as to what they were, or how they were prepared. I ordered the guacamole. It was fresh, but had no flavor, except the avocado. What was supposed to be mango salsa, looked more like diced pineapple. I couldn't tell, because it didn't have any flavor either. I also had the Black Magic frozen cocktail. I thought it would have more of a fruit taste to it than it did, but I didn't ask the waiter for a recommendation before I ordered it. So that's my bad. I had the shrimp tacos. They weren't bad. There was three small, breaded shrimp on each taco. I was surprised to see the breading, and it gave it more of a frozen, deep fried shrimp taste to the tacos. A lime slice was included with the meal, which allowed enough acid to brighten up the dish. The best part of the meal was the rice and beans. They were actually nicely seasoned. For $70 I expected more. I usually love the Disney Restaurants, but I won't be returning to this one. Especially since the San Angel Inn is just across the the way. I could have gotten a much better meal at any of the counter service restaurants at Epcot.

We made reservations for mid-afternoon, so we could escape the heat, and rest our feet. What a great choice. We loved everything we ordered. We only ordered appetizers, as we were experiencing more than 1 country's food. The guacamole with mango salsa is delicious. The chips, salsa, and cheese are very good. The plantains were excellent. We will definitely be back.

Great place to enjoy dinner while watching the evening show on the waters! We had a fairly late reservation at this restaurant because we wanted to fully enjoy the evening show but didn’t want to sit around for hours holding down a spot. We were warned that a window table is not guaranteed but luckily for us we did end up with a window table and it was amazing. The restaurant dims and the music matches that of the outside, if you’re looking to rest your legs and enjoy dinner and not miss the night time fire works this is the place! The food was also surprisingly decent. I assumed it would be comparable to chain restaurant quality but it is certainly better. The ingredients are super fresh, the chips were still warm when they arrived at the table, and the fajita platter for 2 can def feed at least 3 or more if they’re children. One of the benefits of this restaurant is that it is not pre-fix so if you just want to snack on a couple of apps while enjoying the fireworks that’s ok too! Highly recommend to anyone that visits EPCOT!

Excellent margaritas, salsa is freshly made. We had an early dinner reservation and the place was mostly empty. Service was excellent and the food was good. Shrimp tacos were good and the tortilla chips were some of the best we've had.

My mother and I used to eat here on every Epcot visit. We made reservations for our visit tomorrow but found out they removed the only menu item we crave. The Crema de Elote!!!! It is the best soup we’ve ever had. We will now be canceling our reservations and never returning unless they bring the soup back. Bad call, Disney.

My party of 9 had a horrible, humiliating experience with the blonde hostile hostess and then the manager of La Hacienda on Friday 4/15. Due to us having a large party I made 2 separate reservations made under my name for 7:30pm. When the first complete party arrived they were told by the hostess that the table was given away. The hostess then changed her story and said she wouldn’t seat them bc the entire party was not there. Again, we had 2 separate reservations and the first complete party were all there. She refused to seat them. She was confrontational, screamed at me when I questioned her and then went to get the manager who said he didn’t like my ‘tone’. It just escalated from there. I won’t not consider returning unless there is a management change.

Although we made a late dinner reservation at 8:15 p.m., it was a great choice because we got to the enjoy the firework and light show afterwards. Wonderful meal too and we loved the chips and guacamole, Pollo Poblano Chicken, and steak tacos. No room to try dessert this time.

I went to this place earlier this month and it was one of the only places that I've been to that took my Multiple Chemical Sensitivity seriously. While eating, the table close to us finished and left. This meant that I needed to leave, as well, since cleaners can cause me to stop breathing. So when I saw that the staff approaching with the cleaners I put my 3M mask on and asked my friends to request a box for the rest of my food since I couldn't stay any longer. When our waitress heard that I was having to leave she asked why and then went to her manager to find out if there was anything that could be done. They were able to create a bubble around our table where they used water to wipe the tables down and only use a rag that had been sprayed with the cleaner in another room so that it wasn't sprayed into the air around me. So they still were able to clean the tables without sending me into respiratory distress. And of course I was able to enjoy my food. Which was wonderful. Made more so by compassionate and understanding staff. When I return in under a year to the area, I will be sure to give more business to such a wonderful place.
