We were fortunate to find one vacant table when we arrived. Our waitress couldn't have been more pleasant and took care of us very well. The food was perfect and done exactly as ordered. Would highly recommend!
The service was NOT good at all. The server took my drink order and food order, instead of getting my drink she just talked to the cook and did dishes the whole time. So I asked if she could please give my my water in a to go cup, she said yea and went back to talked and doing dishes. Another man walked in ordered his drink and food and did the same to him. At 7:45 a line 3 ppl walked in and she told them they would only do to go orders.. waffle house is open 24hour why are they only doing to go orders and at only 8pm? I went to this location on 4/30/22 at 730pm. I will never go to this location ever again..
What can I say? It's waffle House. This particular branch though has outstanding staff and I really enjoyed my dinner there with my young son. I'll be coming back now that I know they serve dinner. It's reasonably priced and the service is great!
Todays visit to this Waffle House was a disaster. Clients sitting for a long time before their orders were taken. Incorrect orders being delivered. Employees visible in a back room laughing and talking with each other - needed up front but not working. There were 5 tables with clients. My husband and I at the counter. We observed 4 young men that sat for 20 minutes before someone walking over to take their order. We had sat for 15 minutes until finally my husband called over that he was ready to order. Saw some people come in - not acknowledged and just left. One employee who appeared to be new kept shuffling yellow order forms - seemed totally mixed up on orders and tables. The cook was working hard at the grill but there seemed to be no one guiding the new employee. We saw that employee carry 4 plates of bacon to a table - was told that wasn’t an order- then saw the cook just throw it all away. A young woman was there when we first arrived - she served one table, wiped off some things while ignoring other customers then headed to back room. Even the cook took a break while people sitting around waiting. A worker came from back room, sat and ate, then left for the back room without helping customers. A young man in a working outfit sat at a back table and appeared to be interviewing a prospective employee. Never once surveyed the situation - in fact, sat with his back to the customers. Have never seen a restaurant so poorly running and managed. Advise you to not go until someone takes charge.
Dave the cook is extremely unprofessional and rude, been to this location several times and never in my life experienced such bad service. He refused to give me Togo containers for my food and told me I could not take my food to go. I’ll never be back

I rarely give a bad review for a place unless the service and food is so bad I would not return. I had a takeout order and my server was great. Waffle house is a great place to grab a bite at anytime. My food was good and consistent with the norm. The cook on duty was complaining and throwing the dishes into the sink. He was spraying off something and as I was taking my order to leave got sprayed in the face. I about lost my temper but decided it was not worth it. I understand that working long hours and difficult work can lead to frustration. Letting it show to customers and accidently spraying them is not acceptable. A professional crew is what I expected and is not what i received.
All the waitresses were nice and accommodating, when we arrived, then there was one. Food was good a usual. What was upsetting was Roberto the manager, instead of helping a waitress who was having a bad start, he walked around like he we was better than everyone, even his customers. He couldn't take time to help the waitress either by delivering food or to clean the broken dishes. Sad, really sad. No teamwork from him at all.Hope the rest of the day goes better for the waitress.
Breakfast was fast, hot, fresh and cheap served with a smile and friendly happy staff. In overpriced Florida, this is a rare gem and well worth the effort to stop in. We loved the old school cafe atmosphere.
