Pizza is incredible as always!!! So I decided to take a shot at the pasta (tried the stuffed shells & chicken fettuccine). The stuffed shells were below decent and the chicken fettuccine was drowned in oil, honestly inedible. Great place, great owner but I'll stick to only the pizza. Still giving 4 stars because everything else outweighs this one incident.
So far I've ordered from this place 3 times. Each time the food has been delicious. It's my new favorite pizza place (wish I'd tried it sooner). I don't know if they make the cannolis themselves, but either way, they are the best I've ever had. Their garden salad is excellent--good portions and fresh veggies. I recommend the Greek dressing.
Me and my wife love this place, but today we were disappointed. Not sure if girl taking orders did not know what she was doing, but ordered 2 slice with drink and 2 beef patties with drink. It took over 30 minutes for 2 patties and pizza not even ready. When I finally got my order both patties and slices were BURNT!!!! I am going to take another chance next time as this is the first time this happened to me, but I hope we dont get disappointed again. Please dont let me down. Thanks
Picked up for delivery. Owner was very nice. However, the place is very dirty. Dust on the walls, ceilings and you can see visible dirt and dust in the kitchen are near where food is being prepared. I definitely would not eat here. Also the staff was very disorganized and orders were sitting on top of the oven for 30+ minutes waiting to be given to customers.
The lady with the blue hair, very rude. Talking and looking at me and my daughter like we’re the problem. What’s really peculiar is that there’s reviews talking about the same issue and the owners or however is answering reviews apparently don’t get it. You need to be more detailed on your interview or hiring process. Many people when they need a job act like they’re the best, once they got it, problem starts. Customers doesn’t need to deal with situations like this, owners need to fix it. That’s the same way I’ve seen business going out. Lack of customer service skills. And obviously this is the last time I visit your business, Al’s Pizza on John Young definitely have more friendly employees smiling and serving. I know you’re not gonna cry cause I’m taking my business somewhere else, but surely this review helps other consumers to choose better before visit you.
I drove 25 minutes to this place and arrived at 9:33pm.I walked in and wanted to order a large pepperoni pizza and I was told they could not make my order anymore. I'm not sure why? their business hours clearly state they are open until 10pm.The place didn't seem busy there was just one couple eating when I walked in.If they can't take any orders after a certain time it should at least be clearly posted to avoid customers from experiencing this type of inconvenience.
Really good New York style pizza and calzones. They use good ingredients and it shows. The owner cares for his business and their customers. Definitely give them a try. We’ve been going here for years.
I love this pizza place, best one in the area. They have been undergoing different staff and never had an issue until January 28th at approximately 7:21 p.m. I called to order two slices of cheese pizza and was told there was no cheese pizza and they weren't going to be making anymore for the rest of the night. I thought the young lady was kidding but then she proceeded to tell me they were too busy to make any more pizza. I just don't understand how a pizza place stops making pizza over two hours before close.
I originally ordered waited for 2 hours i was hungry as hell the order was cold refunded at no charge . I was sonupste my lunch break was over so I ordered again it said 15 min .. The pizza is really good. But one of the employees, a tall young girl was very rude. We have been going there for years and never had a problem. We ordered online and then we decided to eat in the restaurant, she came on to us very rude telling us we can't eat inside because the lobby was close at 8pm. We didn't know, there was no sign stating that information. Is a shame, because is a good pizza place, but that kind of employee will draw people away.
