The Hollywood Brown Derby is a beautiful building with very quaint decor. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and to have our bread replenished almost the moment we’d finished it! A particular highlight was the Hawaiian salt sprinkled on the butter. We highly recommend the Coq Au Vin. Thank you for a fabulous end to our day in the park!
Excellent family friendly experience. Nice atmosphere and service. Great food options and vegetarian. Recommended. Reservations essential.
A spectacular dining experience in Hollywood Studios. This place is a fine dining restaurant that is themed around Hollywood movie stars during the golden ages. The service was good. The food was excellent my Shrimp and Scallop Newberg was excellent and creamy. Everyone in my party had very good dishes. Would recommend to eat here at least once in a lifetime.
My experience with this restaurant is if you want a good dinner, choose one of the more expensive items such as the Filet Mignon or Shrimp and Lobster Newburg. The Charcuterie Board was excellent. The Tomato Risotto wasn’t so good. It was $200+ for three adults without dessert.
First time we have tried this restaurant. Food was really good! Service….not so much. Our server “Kenneth” was seriously non existent. Not even joking, a simple meal turned into a 2 hour event. Actually ruined the meal. Would def go back, food was good, just need to request an actual waiter who knows their job.
For 6 people, we paid $450. For this amount of money, the food was good but not great. Service was decent but periodically absent. The tomato soup is worth the visit. I had the salmon entree, which was good, not great. I know a lot of people rave about Disney cuisine, but I was once again under-whelmed.
If you're unable to get a reservation inside The Hollywood Brown Derby, try the Lounge outside instead! They offer the full menu so you won't miss out on trying any of the dishes from inside the restaurant. Highly recommend joining the walk-up list as soon as you can, because wait times for a table can exceed over an hour. Our favorites: Sea Scallops with Pork Belly, Cobb Salad with Shrimp, Signature "Lettuce Wrapped" Burger, Bloody Mary, Gin Mule, and Red Sangria.
Very nice place but on the pricey side. We had the Escargot Casino which was a little rich but flavor was great. Skipped the entrée and went straight to dessert: The 50th Celebration Baked Alaska! Stunning dessert. Very good flavor and well presented. We were served by Samantha. She was simply EXCELLENT!
My family and I visited The Brown Derby this week and enjoyed the meal. We were disappointed that they had updated the menu since last year and some of the dishes were no longer included. The service seemed a bit slow as well. We still enjoyed the meal and would do it again. By far one of the best places to eat at Hollywood Studios.
Excellent food and service! We shared the charcuterie board and Cobb Salad and both were better than could be expected. Excellent service as well from Chrisanne!
