Always A Great Lunch And Dinner Menu
I played the Cypress today. First, the staff was friendly and helpful. The cart is comfy, but there’s no GPS and they’re a little old. I didn’t use the practice facilities, but the range was all grass (+). The putting green did appear sad (pictured). From tee to green the course is in wonderful shape. The fairways were like carpet. There’s some spottiness, but nothing that really came into play. The bunkers were a little wet or packed, but our region has been inundated with rain almost every evening for the past 3-4 weeks. The greens are s-l-o-o-o-w… l would guess literally a 7-8. Can’t make that up. But they’re in good shape, with some mild spottiness. Again, nothing that came into play. Most of the rough is only a quarter inch higher than the fairways, except within 3’ of the woods. Then they don’t even bother to cut it. And this is definitely NOT a walking course. Some of the holes are literally 1/4-1/2 mile apart, and maybe more. All in all l loved the course. Wonderful variety of lengths, doglegs and no hole is boring. I can’t wait to return to play the Oaks!

Excellent golf course. With incredibly friendly staff. Excellent value for the money.
Horrible experience. Our second time trying to give our local club some business. Ended up walking out both times. We were seated and then waited, waited, waited,waited,waited,waited…. You get the idea. After 20 minutes we left. I will never recommend this place to any of my Solvita neighbors and will never go back. When leaving we asked the hostess (who was just sitting there with another worker) why no one was waiting tables - “I don’t know “. She could have at least been getting waters etc so the guests just aren’t left hanging. This is not a problem with being short staffed this a training/management problem!!!!
We went to The Grille restaurant at the golf club. We started with the calamari. It was in rings and was deep fried and golden brown. Not too chewy. It was okay but tasted a bit bland. For lunch I had the Rachel. Sliced Turkey with sauerkraut and Russian dressing on marble rye. It too tasted a bit bland.
Waiting for seating is out of control. Food was good.
Golf course good layout, The fairways look good grass is high they need to cut low grass ,putting green are poor very patchy , they have dirt hole and The staff employed the rules, There are not friendly person.
Very nice community, Gate employees don't seem to share information well
