We flew in from WA and had dinner here last year. Amazingly, we got the same table this year. Haha ?. Food is good. Similar to a Sizzler's or Ruby Tuesday, if you're looking for a comparison. Get the buffet with your dinner!! Great options for everyone, (even the picky ones)!! Pricing is based on age. Based on the family ahead of us, 3 and under are FREE!!Kids menu available through age 9 I believe. Anything you can't get off the main menu an older kid can find in the buffet. If we travel again, we'll be back.Server staff was very nice.

Burke, party of seven. The restaurant is your typical buffet type restaurant, nothing great to write home about. It was clean and not overly busy when we dined. We all got just the buffet eventhou they have steak and seafood dinners. When they first seated us they wanted to split us up into 2 different tables that weren't even next to each other. Oh yes we'll sit here and you can put our kids all the way down there, not! The food itself was okay but there really wasn't enough variety for the price. The Taco shells for the taco station were cold and stale tasting. The fried chicken was good tasting but cold, and so on. If we go there again I think I'll pass on the buffet altogether and just get a dinner.

Ate here with my party but really wouldn't give this restaurant high marks on food or service! The food bar is sparing in their offerings and the service (I know most establishments are short handed) but the waiter wouldn't acknowledge my wife trying to get our sons beverage refilled and walked by her 2 times within 15 seconds as she was even waving at him to please stop on both occasions before she actually went to get my sons beverage refilled herself! If you want a buffet style meat and veggies type meal, please go to a Golden Corral (which there is one located right down the street), and get a meal that is worthy of a sit down environment! Food 3☆...staff 2☆...atmosphere 2☆ but I rounded overall experience up to a 3 star for benefit of the possible staff shortage they may be experiencing.

Wish they had more chicken varieties to choose from..but it is always great to return to a 90's classic. Otherwise, the broccoli soup is delicious and so are the meatballs. Buffet is worth coming in for...$19 and some change including tax for buffet and soda..after a long day of driving, it hits the spot. Dessert selection could be better though as well...

Was in a mood for some good food, haven’t had this place in years because they no longer have them in our area, get there only to be disappointed! First and foremost, I ordered the chicken dinner and buffet, told the cashier to hold the baked potato, when my waiter comes with my plate, he brings me this huge plate with a piece of chicken the size of a pea, I asked the waiter where was the rest of my food and in a condescending manner, told me that I told the cashier to hold the starch, which was correct, he then proceeds to tell me that I misunderstood the cashier, I’m still confused as to what I misunderstood, his job as a server was not met when he brought the plate out and continuously telling me that I misunderstood, the food at this point is horrible, most of that junk on the salad bar was cold and wasn’t worth putting it on your plate and the workers was rushing you out basically telling you that they was about to close, wanting you to leave and they where so busy packing them plates to go! Horrible service and food, cheap meal but save your money and go elsewhere! The place also reaks of a musty odor

The prices are high and the size of products small the range was very minimal and old and tired looked like it had been there all day it tasted either undercooked or over cooked the desert section had only 4 items on it no ice creams at all the server stood 2 tables away from me chatting to another girl ,I could go on and on but I will let my feet do the walking and never cross a ponderosa doorway

I remember going to to a Ponderosa 40 yrs ago in Lakeland when I was a kid. When I seen there was a Ponderosa still in business I had to check it out. I was very pleased, the food was great along with the service.

Great place. No longer have these around us in NY so it was nice to see one again. Clean dishes and decent food. My kids loved it! Ice cream bar is lacking if I must say. 1 flavor and only 2 toppings.....but for the price its a great place and id go again for sure!

Breakfast buffet sucked. Please go elsewhere. Only gave a 3 star because the waitress was so sweet. We paid around 29.00 for toast. LOL. That's all that was good. The eggs were watery. The waffles were hard. The selection was terrible. The bread pudding was disgusting. There are so many other options here. GO ELSEWHERE. Do not waste your money like I did. ?‍♀️
