I think this is some of the best quick serve food out there. I quite enjoy workday lunches at this location. I was there yesterday and I think I left my debit card. I can't get anyone to answer the phone or return my voice messages to confirm if they have it. I have called dozens of times and even called corporate to see if they could get me a different phone number - no answer. I sent a FB message and can see the message was read, but no answer. Please tell me how to speak with a human at the store.
Horrible every time we’ve given them a chance. You order via the app to “save” time, yet they don’t START to prepare your meal until you arrive and even then you have to go up to the counter to find out status!! Today was a prime example. Order was supposed to be ready at 8:55pm, at 9:05 decided to find out what the issue was and they said they had just started preparing the order. They’re also ALWAYS out of the promotional items. Why have posters of new desserts or menu items if you never have it in stock! Def. one of the worst Pollo’s out there.
Delicious roasted Chicken! Worth the $20 and fed three people a delicious dinner. If you need to find some savings in your budget because you overspent somewhere else, the pollo tropical needs to be a place where you bring at least one lunch or dinner from to help get your budget back on track.
I ordered 4 orders at the drive thru on Saturday 4/16/2022. and after paying they asked me to park in front of the door that they would bring me the food. (there was no one behind me). After 10 minutes of waiting, I decided to go down to get my order( bad customer service) The crispy chicken was burnt and the rice was soggy, very soft. On the second order, they gave me white rice instead of yellow and the portion got smaller and smaller. I asked for the sauce with coriander and garlic and sauce with curry (2 for each order) and they only gave me 1 per order of which a container was empty, arguing that they had very few sauces (always the same excuse) . Is it really so hard to get mayonnaise, cilantro and garlic?. This place at 7901 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee Fl is the worst! Cheap, dirty and very bad attention. They work with tourist who don't come back, but I'm a local! Try to avoid this Pollo Tropical, or you will feel like you are wasting your money.
First time I came we Waited almost a half an hour to spend 40 bucks on very small portions, dry meat and hard tostones…the portions were child size and we ended having to get some stuff from a food truck. I went the second time last night hoping maybe it was just an off night and it was the same thing except I only bought a platter 6.99 and a soup and they told me it was 20 dollars….20 bucks and I got a wing smaller than the palm of my hand and a thigh I think which was unbelievably tiny…the skin was thick and leathery and the meat was insanely dry…hard rice and the black beans were so scarce I took my table spoon to measure how much I got and it was 4 spoonfuls…I took it back and they told me they gave me the wrong bowl of beans which makes me think I had somebody else’s food half eaten in my platter box. ? I would just tell anybody coming here if there are any good days at this place they’re probably far and few between I would honestly just go up the street and get some food from the Spanish food trucks we get way better portions and it’s a lot cheaper and tastes better.
The worst. The customer service is horrible. The black lady who works the drive thru has the nastiest attitude. Even when trying to be nice to her, she's as nasty as can be and should be fired.My last visit here was around 8:30p Thursday night, I was given the wrong order. I called after getting home, a little after 9p and no one would answer the phone. I left a message and did not receive a call back.
I very much appreciated the excellent service this store manager have provided when I was placing my order. His attention to detail, great communication skills, and ready smile made the experience even better than I expected.Your happy customer :)
Took 30 minutes from the time we walked in until we received our food. Nobody at the register for several minutes to take our order. Plenty of staff standing around but not doing much. We checked the bags when we finally received our order. We were missing our sauces and the gravy for our mashed potatoes. Also, they forgot to give us our drink. The first employee we spoke to just kept walking by and waved us off. Finally we got the attention of the cashier and he completed our order. The chicken and sides were actually pretty good. That's why they get the second star.
Chicken dry and overcooked, side of avocado was 3 slivers not worth the $3 (a whole avocado is $1 at just about any grocery), got ice in a lemonade I ordered without ice, ordered fried green plantains that can be finger food & got the sweet ripe ones instead which nobody likes. Wish I could give it no stars.
We wanted to order a salad with crispy chicken. But for some reason, we were told that the crispy chicken was only for online customers. Since we were eat-in customers, we were refused. So we left. They didn't even try to accommodate.
