The food is delicious when they get the order right. We used to eat here at least once or twice a week but consistently the orders were wrong or hard rice, low quality pieces of chicken, hard and dried pieces of pork and so on. The standards definitely went downhill. I get ALL fast food places have this issue but this location specifically suffers from low standards and new employee issues. We tried it again today after not coming for a while and still has the same issues we stopped coming here for. We even ate inside instead of the drive through in the hopes it would be better. But nope.
Ordered at 5:30, Pickup time was supposed to be at 6:00pm. Waited in the car till 6:15, then decided to go inside to find out what was going on with the order. My order was on the counter already and nobody called or took it to the car. Checked my order and it was wrong, missing 2 dips, jalapeños and an order completely wrong so I went inside to get correct order. After I went home jalapeños were completely FROZEN!!!
Don't order delivery from this location if you expect to get sauces that you order much less the correct items you ordered!! We have ordered multiple times with 2 different sauces in the ordered and received 0??? Also, we ordered white rice and got yellow rice in one of our order. If this location is incapable of fulfilling online orders for what the customer chooses then please take the delivery option away.
This is my favorite place to get food. They cook beans and rice the way I do, same flavor I love them. Good job. Thank you. I love that Cuban flavor.
Mostly good service but they never get our orders right.Don’t come to this location if you don’t like beans because they will always load your tropichop with beans. Even if you order no beans or light beans… you get like 3 scoops always.
This Pollo Tropical is one of the worst i have experienced it seems very mismanaged. The lady at the drive-through did not speak much English and she rudely passed the headset to another person after she got the order wrong multiple times. When i pulled up to the drive-through she cursed in Spanish and seemed like she hated working there via her body language and cursing in Spanish ( Yes we understand Spanish ). The orders here are always wrong and you will always be missing food the worst is we have a person with an allergy and told her 5 times along with the manager not to include an ingredient and the food was made with disregard for the ingredient. This Pollo Tropical is managed terribly and the drive-through folks from everything I can see do not want to work there. The terrible experience was we had to go back 3 times to get the order right and this happened on multiple attempts at giving this place a try. Very low standards and it's shocking because when it started this place was run very well. I fear it's going down sadly and we will be going to better run places than this Pollo. I also feel like the missing food because of the high frequency is a scam. We count 5 times they purposely leave food out of your order. CHECK YOUR FOOD THEY'RE NOTORIOUS FOR NOT GIVING YOU WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
I had a long time without coming. The 1/2 chicken is chopped in such a clever way that it really is a 1/4 and a bit more. I don't want to imagine then the new 1/4. Bye bye the sauce bar. Like everything lately: less quality, smaller portions and the same or more expensive price. Pay more for less ?
Service was really bad. Waited forever to get my food. I was dining in and got my food to go, which is fine but what a waste of plastic. Chicken was dry and overcooked. I didnt get my plantains. Returned and the girl said “they're cooking” and walked away. I was so over it , I preferred not to return to the counter for my side. The kids meal was missing a side too. Didn't even bother ! Just an overall bad experience.
The chicken was super dry and the service was not great. I had to ask multiple times for cutlery and napkins. And when asked for basic sauces they said they weren’t going to make anymore and it was only 7pm. Would not recommend
Not very impressed with this food, got there tropichop meal (bowl) got a couple of pieces of grilled chicken and the onions weren't sautéed very well. I may try them once more for a regular chicken meal but they definitely need to do better on them bowls they serve. I had more brown rice than anything else
