I always love the sushi at mr sushi express! The boba is also really good. I tried the pokebowls for the first time and the vegetable tofu one was amazing. My boyfriend had a spicy salmon bowl but complained about it having too many peanuts. Besides that I love this place! I recommend!
If you are looking for a very innovative sushi roll you will not find anywhere and the most competitive prices this is the place to go. These guys are very creative with their rolls and they are so good. The ceviche roll and the one with mango are out of this world. Their drinks are great as well. Service is amazing, all staff is very friendly, energetic and always willing to help you decide or answer any questions. I do go at least twice a month and can’t be away from this place too long. Always busy, so there might be a little wait, but Is old town just step outside while you wait and you will be very entertained. You have to try them.
Had shoyu ramen, spicy tuna, platter A, food taste great, wish the proteins could be little bit more!Also had the taro slushies and thai tea slushies, taste ok, seems from batch powder
Bland sushi, fair prices. Weak wasabi. Nothing special, but again, cheap prices you get what you pay for. I would try another restaurant before returning.
Been here a couple of times now when we are in from out of state. Such great prices and such great service. The restaurant is a little hole in the wall with a no-frills seating area and mediocre lighting. But none of that is required for eating awesome sushi. And Mr Sushi Express delivers on the sushi. Many options to choose from. Something for everyone’s taste.The parking is at Old Town and can be quite difficult to find. Plan on parking a little ways away and walking over. Great little area to enjoy the sights and sounds.
Frustrated. No wasabi included with sushi. Ordered sushi from 25+ other restaurants and never had to order wasabi. Read reviews after delivered and I see this is an ongoing issue. Dumb. Grub hub won’t help either. Good tasted ok, but not great without wasabi.
Used to visit a lot, not a fan of the new management. Not Asian owned, more than likely it’s Spanish owned. Cashier with the blue eyes was rude and unprofessional. Didn’t bother fixing my order just gave me my money back, I ordered Unagi/ Eel and instead of putting eel on the rice he just poured the eel sauce and called it a eel sushi roll. The blue eyed cashier asked the guy who made it and said he did then he pointed to the one piece of tiny meat on 1 out of the 10 rolls. Small establishment is equivalent to slow service. I ended up just getting a refund because I couldn’t deal with his attitude and lost my appetite
Sushi was good, but it's an express location. Place wasn't clean, bugs around the trash can and our table. It was a turn off.
It’s not the best sushi ever but it’s a great amount and decent for the price. The staff was so sweet and accommodating with our little family. The place is simple enough you order and then sit down and gather anything else you need yourself.For some reason the images I took of the actual rolls disappeared but we got a platter that came on a boat, a deep fried roll and a panko chicken + fries kids combo. The panko on the chicken was so thick and the chicken was so dry and chewy we had to knock off a star but everything else was great!
It was not good. the rice in the rolls was crumbling and it wasn't like rice in real Japanese food. I ordered through the doordash and they didn't send my drinks. I called to complain and the manager didn't mind. do not recommend and will not ask again.
