Reservations made in advance. Only five tables were occupied in the entire restaurant for Wednesday 7:00 pm dinner, with no guest waiting line. Hostess asked us to wait 10 mins for our table with 10 to 15 empty tables in front of us. (Remember, we had reservations.) After being seated, our table was dirty and sticky, so we asked to move over to the next table. Hostess became angry making it uncomfortable for everyone. Then, she told another employee we were switching tables and both gave us displeasing looks that could kill. Food was okay. But, prices were outrageous for this level of negligent hospitality.
A little on the pricey side, but the meal wasn't a disappointment at all. Definitely different from anything at home. Would come back again, depending on how much room I have in my wallet. Staff was friendly, prompt, and polite.
My family absolutely adored the Moor. Food is fantastic, be ready because it is pricey though, but worth every penny. Beautiful place too. The best old fashioned I have ever tried.
Food was bad. But atmosphere was nice. Very bland and tasteless. Every time we tried to order food or wine our server would recommend something else. Not one recommendation was good. Pricing was insane for such poor food and such small portions. My swordfish was a 2" triangle. Tiny! And it was $42. So overpriced. Drinks were just so-so. The description on the menu were much better than the actual food and drinks.
Service was great! But the food was overpriced and bland. Charging $52 for the seafood stew was absurd when you get 3 shrimp, piece of fish, 6 clams and an over cooked lobster tail. Gator ribs were rubbery and tasteless. Spent almost $900 for 4 adults and 5 kids which was a robbery. Definitely won’t be back!
Great food and service was amazing. The atmosphere of being on a old sailboat was incredible. Food is priced right considering taste and chef preparation of dishes. We strongly recommend this restaurant for your someone special.??
Beautiful place but too expensive and the food too poor all of the plate were extremely small
New Years Eve celebration was fantastic. They accommodated our party of 8. We had the opportunity to sit on the boat like we had asked for in advance. The server was extra cheerful and bright. The meals were prepared perfectly. Nice selections. This is the second year we’ve celebrated New Year’s Eve at Moor and we would do it again.
This was an awful experience. First, they booked us on the wrong date over the phone. Then that had other groups of people seating before us even though they “corrected the error” and apologized. We were left on the side of the restaurant waiting for the next “available seat”. Our appointment was for 8:45 pm and I’m writing this review at 8:55pm still waiting as others are being seated. Manager Nicole Cortes Rodriguez was rude and obnoxious. Made us step aside while others were seated. Seems to be prejudice.
Service was wonderful. Decor/boat was beautiful. However, The food was AWFUL. For the price of $175 my husband and I were flabbergasted that the food has zero flavor.. from appetizers to the entree...nothing but disappointment. We really expected to be blown away... sadly I would recommend leaving the hotel for food before eating at the Moor.
