I went to see the restaurant with my mother. I dropped a shoyo on the floor and the waitress started yelling in Chinese at another waitress, took the mop to clean the floor and threw it hard on the floor. I still apologized and she didn't even respond. I have never been in such an embarrassing situation in a restaurant. horrible service.
We always love coming to this place when we are in the area. It's fun to watch them cook in front of you. The portions are large and the food is very good. You also get soup and salad with your dinner. The shrimp are huge and the steak is usually very tender but not this time. The chicken was really good too. We'll differently go back again.
We visited Mizu Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi for a late lunch. Don’t let the spartan surroundings or strip mall location deter you in dining here. We were wonderfully greeted and seated by the owner. Our server was attentive and friendly. Their large menus can be intimidating but take your time and you’ll discover something for everyone in your group. We started with the House Salad with ginger dressing and then the Sweet Potato Roll with a Philadelphia Roll. The rolls were fresh and great tasting and the Sweet Potato Roll was the best! Our entrees were the Shrimp Fried Rice and the Seafood Fried Rice with scallops, shrimp and krab (yes fake crab). I can guarantee you will not leave hungry due to the amount of fried rice and large servings. If you want selection, service, quality food and a great food experience, Mizu Japanese Steakhouse is your place to dine!
Great Japanese Restaurant in the heart of Florida…nothing beats NY but Mizu sure gets close. The food is fresh and delicious! They have a wide selection of food on the menu from sushi to Hibachi…. It’s a bright and beautiful space. They can accommodate large groups and there’s free parking right outside, something you don’t find in NY. ?? Will definitely be visiting again!

The food was delicious, the server was kind, everything was clean and it was a fun food show! They took about 40 minutes to start preparing it tho, the chef was busy and we needed to wait for him since the other 2 that were there, were busy too.
I really enjoy the food here. The vegetarian option are great, and the fried rice is my current obsession! Minus one star because the customer service isn’t the best. Otherwise, love this place. Definitely do the hibachi
I got to go lunch and I was very pleased food was amazing everything was placed nicely. Even my masago was placed in a cucumber cup!! I was greeted by Stephanie at the door and she was so sweet! Definitely would recommend!
The food was fine.. It wasn’t terrible, it was hot and fresh but service was just really slow and rude. We tried to ask questions because we have simply never been there before and the waiter was just so annoyed. They are pretty much a smaller version of Kobe’s. They have a section for people who are just eating in and then a section to sit and have someone cook in front of you. To save time, we decided to just eat in, nobody cooking in front of us but the food took so long that the table that was getting the whole experience but started after we orders was almost done. In general I’d much rather go to Kobe’s.
First time eating at Mizu so I didn't understand the menu. The waiter was so nice in helping me and my mom navigate the menu and pick good food that we would like. The soup and salad before the meal was amazing. The flavors were a great set up for the main dish. I ordered a chicken dish with rice and vegetables while my mom had steak, rice and vegetables. The food was so delicious and the portions were very filling for the price. It was worth every penny. Between the two of us we paid 30 dollars which is good in my book so this place is affordable and delicious. I don't recommend it for young kids unless they like this culture food. I will be going back to try the sushi and hibachi grill. For my first time I would say this is a great dinner option.
