Burke party of 7. We went for dinner last night 4 adults and 3 kids. The food was okay and the portion size was large. However the steak for the Fajitas was over cooked. I ordered my steak medium and it was almost all well done. My husband ordered a medium burger and he too got a well done burger, but atleast his still tasted good. The kids got zingers (different kinds)and they were very good if not a little on the spicy side, which was disappointing, especailly since we asked before we ordered. My sister sent back her sweet potato fries because they were soggy and cold. The beer was ice cold and the Tito's strawberry lemonade was good. The place it's self is really nice, big and clean. They also have both inside and covered outside dinning.
I just placed a pick up order and when I get home after driving 20 minutes to the restaurant and 20 min back !!! This is what I found !!! My burger had a big bite on it!!! And the manager when I called said he knows he staff didn’t do it so he pretty much told me I was lying! I find this so disrespectful ?? never again will I be eating here, this is just disgusting, who knows what left over plate they took it from ?
I had not been to this Ale House for a few years but came back during a recent vacation. Since I was solo I sat at the bar and received great service. It was a late dinner so I just went with a beer and the pepperoni flatbread. The beer was cold and the pizza was hot. The rest of the restaurant was very busy but the manager in charge of the kitchen kept things rolling along well. Prices have definitely gone up here but I think they have everywhere else as well. Not quite as good of a deal as it used to be.
I visited this restaurant to watch a game a few days ago. The waitress Melinda was fantastic …knowledgeable and attentive and funny. I gave her a good rating. However the reason I am writing this is to alert patrons to their supposedly signature dish….”Dads meatloaf.” This concoction had to be the worst I have eaten….loaded with salt, a paper thin strip of meatloaf topped with crumbled onions strips, who thinks this stuff up? Stick with the wings at this place.
The Tex Mex Nachos were AMAZING!!!! The large is gigantic so unless you are sharing definitely get the small!!! They are open late and you can order takeout. Very close to a lot of resorts in Kissimmee so super easy after a long day at the parks if you want something quick and easy.
We were on vacation in Orlando and Kissimmee -- there is a Miller's Ale House in each city. We ate at both and both were excellent -- good service, variety of food options and great atmosphere. The location in Orlando had an outdoor area that was lovely -- at first I thought it may be too hot to sit out there, but there was a nice breeze and ceiling fans. Awesome service and food. We visited these restaurants 4 times out of our 10-day stay. You won't be disappointed. Hard to find places that are clean and run well -- these two restaurants were a hit with us!
Miller's Ale House was pretty good. We purchased their fish and chips, which was quite tasty. They have the most tasty sweet potato fries, yummy.
Coming here since 2013, zingers were $7.99 now $13.99 and you get less, chicken cesar salad is half the portion and toilets smell bad Used to be a great spot for great value now you get half the portion for double the cost
Couldn’t book ahead and on arrival we were told an hour wait, although to be fair we were seated within a few minutes. Waited a while for some of the drinks. Appetisers came and the French onion soup was not good. Hadn’t finished eating these when the entrees came out. One prime rib was incorrectly cooked and literally just thrown at one of the party anyway. Sat for a while with no cutlery and food going cold. Prime rib sent back to be cooked more as asked for and then forgot to bring it back out. It was still cooked incorrectly when it came. Appetiser plates still on the table at the end of the meal. The food was mediocre as was the service. Paid the bill and left and was then was chased across the car park as a mistake was made with the bill. Highly embarrassing. Would not recommend and would not return.
Melinda, our server, was great, thank goodness because the hostess was awful and the food was not great. The blond at the front door had a terrible attitude! She insisted that she couldn’t seat our party of 8 together and that we needed to be seated at separate booths, all while having a rather nasty attitude. Mind you, we were willing to wait, had no problem with it at all. After we were sat, we watched several other large parties (groups of 7 or 8) be seated around us. Then we watched a staff argument happen in front of us because we asked for ranch. The wings were like rubber because the way over cooked and the spinach dip was bland. We mentioned or mishap with hostess to a manager who really didn’t seem to care. Would not recommend this place at all!
