We were originally going somewhere else but they had an hour wait so we stopped here. What a good call. I had the lemon blueberry pancakes which were delicious. My husband had an omelet. Service was very friendly. We will be back.
Environment is nice, staff very friendly.Chicken salad croissant was good.Fried chicken Benedict very delicious, great idea!!
Stopped unexpectedly as we were searching for somewhere along our route to eat. What a wonderful surprise this place was. The service was attentive but not too much, the food was served in reasonable time and was of good quality and good size. Would recommend and hope to return.
Parking was easy. Seating was fast and the host was friendly and informative. Table Server (Sierra) was friendly, attentive, and proactive( refills without being asked, etc.). Breakfast type meals were served quickly and typical of diner fare. Overall the entire diner was very clean and well maintained, including the restrooms. Would definitely visit again.
Went here for the first time to try their chicken in waffles. I should have stayed home! The food was absolutely terrible. I’m going to show you a picture of what their chicken and waffles should look like vs what we received. The fried chicken was so over cooked, that it didn’t look like fried chicken. The frying oil must not have been changed in weeks! The fried chicken had no flavor because it clearly had been fried and weeks old grease. Totally disgusting. I should have had all of our meals returned, but didn’t want to make a scene. We spent $65 for 3 orders of chicken and waffles, that clearly I could have stayed home and made myself with fresh cooking oil. Not sure if this location is trying to cut corners on quality, but the place was packed with people that apparently like burnt and overcooked food. Hopefully management will see this and address this because the first Metro Diner I’ve been to in Charlotte, NC certainly knows how to cook.
After some shopping, in the Florida summer heat, after a late night; and you just have to have a turkey club sandwich but your wife wants eggs Benedict, just come here. The turkety was a $2 up charge to their BLT triple decker. My wife loved her eggs. Service was good. All at a reasonable price.
Food was delicious, the service great
I went here and got the chicken and waffles and I’m going to be thinking about it the rest of the trip. BEST THING I EVER HAD !!!! Carol in the Kissimmee location is the sweetest person I ever met. Made sure we felt right at home and were fully prepared for our meal. Carol’s kindness and energy was probably even more memorable than the amazing food! Can’t wait to come back and visit you all again !!!
Stopped at the Metro Diner in Kissimmee for lunch. Our server Carol was outstanding - I can't remember when we have been so well taken care of at any restaurant - she was delightful. Since it was Friday we both had the Fish Fry - fish was perfectly prepared - came out hot and crunchy. The corn chowder soup with shrimp was very well made with nice chunks of shrimp. Very nice people and food was very good.
Although the GPS kept insisting this place was located inside an as of yet built area (it was actually off by about a block), we found it. Located at the Loop, next to Pep Boys, it offers great food with great service. We were sat immediately after arriving and our server was super friendly, and knowledgeable about the food. We went for breakfast and everything was delicious. From the flavored coffee to the biscuits and the huevos rancheros (available for a limited time). No sooner had we placed our order and food started coming out. The biscuits were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The cinnamon rolls were sugary, sweet but not overpoweringly so and the candies walnuts gave them an extra crunch and texture. The huevos rancheros were basically home made fried tortilla chips that held very well to the sunnyside up eggs and the beans and pico de gallo. Every so often I would get an extra spicy hot from the slides jalapeños. I believe they have several locations so look for the one closest to you.
