Service was fine but the food was awful. Taco Bell’s nachos would have been better and the empanadas come with a ketchup based sauce! Amateur hour for tapas. I don’t give reviews like this ever but my hope is that they up their game because the staff was great and I love the location.
Don't let the nice vinyl stickers on the window fool you. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. The water and the bottled sprite was the best thing we had. Carne Frita was like chewing on a tire. This is not a TAPAS place. Side for Carnes reads carnitas and tostones then says plantains, it's not the same thing. They DO NOT have plantains at all. This place reinforces my belief that you should not eat anywhere rated under a 4.3. The fact that it's also connected to a "diner" now speaks volumes after eating here. How is this place still in business will be the 8th wonder of the world. Had to add ketchup just to get some kind of flavor to the food. Using the leftovers for my dogs, hopefully they will eat the overpriced fried rubber.
This is my 1st time here and the food was amazing! Super flavorful. I had the churasco, it was perfect, I definitely recommend anyone to come here and eat. Even their chips salsa dip was the best salsa I've had. We finished our meal with the fried cheesecake. Johnnie was my server he was great!
Stopped in this restaurant on a whim and so glad we did!! The atmosphere was warm and inviting! The bartender Johnnie was amazing! Very attentive and took great care of us. The food was amazing! Best salsa ever!!! Loved it!!! Will be back!!!
The only reason we ate anything is because we were extremely hungry. The guacamole was store bought, the food came suspiciously quick. The tostones were frozen and lacking flavors, they did not even bother seasoning it with some salt. The fried pork was dry with no seasoning. The paella was horrible, characterized by a sour tasting chicken.
Spectacular. Great service and excellent ambiance. Get a latte, they're superb.
My family and I ended up here after a stroll round the lake front, the restaurant was sharing the same space as the burger joint next door so had the choice of two menus and ordered off both. On the burger side we ordered the open roast beef sandwich and the bulid your own burger, The burger was OK a little greasy but OK fries were cold but hey ho, as for the opened roast beef sandwich it was like thinly sliced kebab meat on toast covered in gravy, honestly not fit for my dog it was gross so sent it back, onto the mexican/Spanish side we had the three different tacos each one was as bad as the next, the chicken was cold and very very dry with a weird sour musty taste like it had been sat for days or already sent out and back it has to ge the worse taco that I have ever eaten, onto the steak, pretty much on the same lines cold, dry with the same sour taste, to be honest I didn't taste the chorizo ones and the after taste from the first two was disgusting so everything we ordered to eat apart from the burger was sent back, the coke was good the modello also flat but at least it was cold, there are plenty of much better restaurants around do not eat here it's absolutely rank

We stopped in for a midday snack. We had the shareable tostones with the chicken tinga. They were fantastic! Very tasty!! I would definitely get them again. The service was a little lackluster. I would definitely come back and have the tostones again or maybe try something else on the menu. It all looked really good.
This restaurant was a complete disappointment and a total waste of money. Do Not eat here! I feel sick to my stomach as I write this review.We ordered nachos which came out cold; the cheese was not melted at all. Nothing was made fresh, canned cheese, jarred jalapenos, discolored cilantro, and store bought guacamole. The server was friendly and attentive. The server did admit that the tortilla chips were not made fresh, just warmed up.The decor is beautiful but the food is the complete opposite. Save your money and a stomach ache and just go elsewhere.
