Great relaxing time. My wife booked this getaway for my birthday and it was exactly what we were looking for. The location is a resort attached to like a mini downtown area where all the restaurants and entertainment are. The location is very modern and super well kept with a friendly staff. There are three pools with a variety of outdoor eating a drinking venues. The food and drink on the resort was a little expensive compared to the restaurant/bars less than a quarter mile walking distance away. We chose to go out and walk and adventure but that was just our personal preference. There is a water park, arcade, dog park, and much more all 5 min walking distance so this truly is a one stop resort. Outside of that there isn't much to do unless you are going to Orlando but we were looking for just this. Somewhere to lounge at the pool have some drinks and not do or worry about anything. This place offered that in spades. Thank you for the great stay I would highly recommend it. Cheers!

I question if people who wrote poor reviews even stayed at this resort…Everything here was pristine and exceptionally clean. You wouldn’t find a discarded food wrapper anywhere around the property. We rented a cottage with a backyard pool and it was extremely well taken care of as well. The entire decor inside was bright and white and pretty well stocked (we would have preferred a baking sheet or two to cook on, but hey). The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. Even after we checked out, we decided to wait by the community pool until leaving for the airport and it was amazing as well. We were treated still like any guest, being given towels and great service. The property is HUGE, but the complimentary shuttle was always around to bring us from our cottage to the lobby or Sunset Walk or the neighboring water park always within 10 minutes or so.Can’t recommend this place enough.
This was a weekend get away Birthday surprise from my husband. I was so excited. We walked onto the property and it was just as I imagined. It was beyond beautiful! The lobby was clean, fresh, and stunning. The shop was cute with fun attire. Our room was absolutely perfect. We had a view of the pool and I was ready to let it be 5 O’clock somewhere… but… we live in Florida and well, rain happens. The sprinkles subsided and we walked the property. This is where we noticed no music playing, covered bars closed, and the pool closure. We inquired and were told-if there’s a lightning warning within 20 miles, outside closes down. It was SUCH a let down. So we paid over a grand to sit in the lobby or our room? No thank you! I would expect the COVERED pool bar to stay open. I’d expect the music to still be playing to at least create a fun atmosphere… I mean can’t we at least get a cheeseburger in paradise? Nope, you can’t. I do understand the pool closure for safety reasons. Unfortunately, we felt like there was a hurricane coming our way when in fact, that’s the Florida summer weather forecast. The staff was understanding and refunded us as we requested. I mean if we can’t enjoy your amenities, why stay? I just felt bad for all the tourists from other states that didn’t have that option. We ended up down the road, at another hotel that didn’t close their facilities. We lounged in their pool, drank their pool bar drinks, and had a stellar time for half the price. I did finally enjoy my 5 O’clock somewhere just not at Margaritaville. For that reason, I’ll never recommend this location or return.
I was impressed! Honestly, it was AMAZING! I spent a week for my honeymoon here, we wanted to relax, have drinks and food all accessible within the resort, and we had that. Plus amazing options, fun activities, place is beautiful, room is super comfortable, chromecast, live music is a nice touch, the pools are very nice, Euphoria has some great food and yummy drink as well! Can’t wait to come back already! Love it!!! Every one is so nice too!!!! Amazing!!!
This is a beautiful, relaxing and fun resort to stay at. It’s literally paradise close to all of Orlando’s major theme parks. The moment you walked through the doors you feel the good vibes from the island inspired decor. The staff were friendly, cheerful and always willing to help you. My hotel room was breathtaking. It didn’t feel like a hotel room at all. You felt right at home with the beautiful modern furniture and decor. My room was spacious, exceptional clean and it had a nice firm mattress which is always important for a good night rest. I had a gorgeous view from my bedroom overlooking the resort and pool. I, also enjoyed the full size fitness center. I had a wonderful time during my stay and would highly recommend staying here.
Absolutely wonderful resort. My husband and I have stayed twice and both times were a great experience. All of the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Rooms are clean and very well kept. As a neat freak, this is important to me and something that I really notice and appreciate. Pool and amenities are also well-kept. Pool has plenty of space to spread out and enjoy even when it is busy. Margaritaville feels like a tropical, relaxing getaway in the busy Orlando area. We will be back!
If you're looking for a beach house feel, with a detached home and plenty of room, the cottages are great. We enjoyed our 4 bedroom with pool very much. The resort itself lacks a cohesive vision and is fairly limited on amenities. It will probably be great in 5 years when the property has been finished and given time to mature a bit.
