Missing blinds, no pole to close TV Remote wasnt working The directional signs were hard to read or confusing Closed exits No extra blankets or pillows in entire resort according to hospitality Very little pots, pans or bowls for cooking No way to connect hdmi to tv Wifi was slow when/if it connected Wifi stopped connecting evening before departing which is when it was most needed and there was no cellular service for Verizon or ATT Cannot get internet access to verify access codes or remove devices Security stopped and questioned a guest while everyone else was allowed to go

BIGGEST RIP OFF OF A RESORT!!!! Rooms are tolerable at best. The wifi is not free they want to charge you 40 dollars a week per device. And you'll more then likely want it because even though I have full bars of cell service, don't even bother trying to do anything on your phone. Nothing works. Their tvs are old and outdated and their tv service is garbage. At least they should have smart tvs for the amount of money you pay to stay at an old outdated resort that does nothing but try to get you to spend more money on their timeshares. Also don't bother bringing a fire stick or anything like that to be able to actually watch movies because there "wifi doesn't support that" for 40 dollars a week it should support anything I want to use! I tried to make a phone call to my daughter's doctor and couldn't even manage that. Heaven forbid you need to make an emergency call you'll never get the help you need. The tubs/shower is ridiculous a normal size person could never fit in it, the shower heads don't turn off for the tub portion and the water that comes out is more like a trickle then a shower. Go to orange lake farther down 192. It's beautiful and clean and the employees are so much nicer.

The best

Location: Great if you are visiting nearby Orlando parks Accommodations: Good - we stayed in a newly renovated 2 bedroom unit. Staff: Great, but not enough staff working restaurant/bars by poolside Amenities - water park is good, but crowded; some other resort pools felt dirty and or too busy, lots of kids even for our kids (LOL) Restaurants - pretty good options - we went to the Italian restaurant, Drafts bar, and snack bar by pool. Beware timeshare push is strong, but we are used to that as timeshare owners.

Went here based on a deal I had found from someone's timeshare. 3 nights for a total of $99 with the commitment of completing a timeshare tour. I figured this was a fair trade off considering the hotel deal. Overall, it wasn't worth it. For someone looking for a nice, quiet. short vacation this resort didn't provide that IMO. For people with families or people traveling with kids this might be ideal. Upon arriving it was overly crowded. People were everywhere. Check in was confusing with a lot of different counters until you're directed to the right place. My reservation was changed unbeknownst to me. That was upsetting considering how many emails they send you after you sign up to make check in faster and just reminding you of what's going on on the resort and your timeshare presentation appointment. After checking in - went to the room only to find that the key didn't work. Had to wait 30 minutes to get it fixed. Security came and after several attempts to reset the keys he ended up using his card to open the door. We then had to wait until they returned and fixed the keys. The room was sooooo tiny and stuffy. Not modern looking at all. I was really disappointed. I Understand that they'll probably give you the bare minimum because of the deal but yeesh not a good way to try to sell someone to return. The room had 2 beds, a small table, flat screen TV, dresser with a safe, the bathroom had a nice shower, dryer for clothes, mini fridge and microwave. I like they had charging ports that used USB. The resort offers a lot to do. Several pool areas, food places, small grocery store, water park and more. Went out to eat only to return and room keys not working again. Again Security had to come and open the door and provided new keys. The next day went out for breakfast- returned and room keys didn't work yet again. This time they determine that the door sensor batteries had died so they replaced that. I asked several times for a new room but never received one. The resort is always bustling and loud. The pools were always filled with kids. The timeshare presentation was nice - the rooms they show you are stunning and very modern. After doing the tours and getting the deals that you'll get as being an owner then the sales tactics come out. High pressure sales tactics and then they seemed to get an attitude when you decline to purchase. For instance- they told me that a 2 bedroom unit was worth $99, 000. They wanted $23, 000 down payment. Monthly rent $1400. HOA annual fees $1200 plus real estate fees. After declining several times. Other people came over with "awesome just informed of deal". Supposedly "just this morning" someone was trading their place and I could get that deal which was only $315 a month and had a balance of $20, 000. I still declined. I'm not going to make a decision like this in 5 minutes and not know all the pros and cons. Glad I didn't too because later after reading several websites I see how most people complain that the rising fees make it hard to maintain and how hard it is to get out of it. FYI- no complimentary breakfast. No room service - you have to call for towels and stuff. Free parking. Close to attractions. Their should be an adult area like a pool area.

Our family travels a lot. We've been to NYC, Washington DC, Pigeon Forge, Williamsburg and New Smyrna/Daytona in the last two years. We also travel on a reasonable budget. We don't expect four stars- we're a Holiday Inn Express kind of family. However, I've stayed at numerous resorts in Orlando: Wyndham Bonnet Creek, Omni, Gaylord, Disney Value Resorts, Cabana Bay, etc. Here's our families honest take: the resort is huge. The property is very large which makes it awkward to navigate. This also means LOTS of people, many of whom seem to be taking advantage of the super cheap preview rates They do not seem to be owners. Our room was located at the far end. Ask for more keys than you really need because if they are lost or deactivated by magnets (cell phones) you will have to journey ALL the way back to the check in area. Our villa was HOT. We called maintenance upon arrival. A friendly man came by and assured us he would make it cool down. It never worked. We gave up the fight and ran the fan. It hovered around 80 the whole time. They advertise 14 pools, which is true, but only two have hot tubs and a modest mushroom water feature for kids. Only these two have pool bars and they are only opened on weekends. I waited in line 30 minutes to order food and another 30 to receive the food at the pool bar at Banana Cabana. The poor bar tender was alone and working so hard. The other areas have plain pools like my backyard pool. The cool stuff is in the water Park, which will cost you $20/per person per day. (On top of the $20 per day resort fee). The water park opens first to owners at 10. Guests can not even purchase a band until exactly 11am. We were in line at 10:30. Upon entering we could not find a SINGLE empty chair of any kind. They do not maintain a capacity max, so they just sell more and more tickets in and the park is packed full. People were sitting all over the ground. Food lines were super long. There were many families who were not supervising their children at the pools. We like kids and brought two of our own, but these kids were throwing balls across the whole length of the pool, splashing with disregard for others, doing dangerous flips off the concrete ledges, pulling on palm trees, etc. If I were an owner, I would be livid at having to share my space with unruly guests and with the sheer volume of guests allowed in to the spaces. We live 45 minutes away, so we go to Orlando a lot. We had our dog with us, so we were limited to pet friendly places, but in future we will stay elsewhere. Especially if you have no pets, there are far too many places with similar features at the price point. I promised my daughter a water slide and lazy river. Next time we will stay at Wyndham Bonnet Creek or Cabana Bay. By the time you bought water park tickets once or twice you're much better off going to Island H2O at the new Margaritaville Resort. Buyer Beware.

The location is fine, its a very large resort. You must be prepared that since this place is near Disney there are a LOT of children and teens, and a lot of them are not well behaved. We went to just relax and get away but we failed to really do a lot of research, The rooms are quite dated, our room says it sleeps four but there was not enough utensils/plates and cups to serve for people at the same time, there was one pot one pan one coffee maker . There was no room service the entire seven days that we were there, thank goodness there was a washer and dryer in the room this way we were able to wash our towels and wash cloths. The kitchen cabinets were hard to open because they got stuck against the ceiling, one of the TV remotes did not work, there were food stains down the side of the refrigerator, the stove was filthy, the drain with a garbage disposal is located had gnats coming out of it, probably one of the most annoying things was the Wi-Fi signal was absolutely terrible if you logged in you literally blocked yourself from getting on the Internet. The on-site waterpark was a joke they literally oversold the waterpark so there was no place for you to sit unless you wanted to sit on scorching pavement also at the pool do avoid the soda machines, a 20 ounce bottle of soda is four dollars and there is no price posted on any of the machines, could not adjust the temperature on the refrigerator because the knob was broken so most of my food and vegetables were frozen and unusable. When you use the ice from the icemaker in a glass of water stir it around for a few minutes and watch all of the little white particles/minerals or whatever it is looks like dissolved toilet tissue start to appear. When it rained the water would come under our door and we were on an upper level we had to use towels to try to keep the rain out, and after it rained you couldn't use the in room telephone because the rain apparently shorts out the telephone trunk somewhere and all you get is loud static. There was garbage on the floor of the elevator the entire time of our stay. I think this place could be really good if the cleaning crew paid better attention to little things, it was obvious that our room was swept but definitely not mopped and if you're going to have white appliances you absolutely must clean them, the dirty handprints were kind of creepy. I'll say is that I know that most people had a bad Internet connection because they were always standing outside their room next to my room on the phone talking loud smoking cigarettes or weed which gets old very quickly. I would say Security did a pretty good job and they were usually very friendly and very helpful. Last I would say avoid the guy in the lobby trying to get you on a tour and in exchange you'll get some type of discount to the waterpark, which is always way to full. Not to mention it's not really a waterpark they have a couple of slides and an area where the water rains down on you, it's really for young kids. -*--

This place is an always must stop in when we vacation at Westgate Town Center. They offer multiple flavors of ice cream, brownie sundae(when the brownies are in stock), make your own, banana splits(when the bananas are in stock) and milk shakes. Don't forget if you're a Westgate owner you get your discount. Good ice cream and plenty of sitting areas with a nice size game room for entertainment. 5 stars if they weren't out of brownies or bananas 3 out of the last 4 times I went.

Westgate's Hershey ice-cream is very good. It has a very rich and creamy taste. Some ice-creams, taste watered-down but not this ice-cream. However I live near and have been to Hershey many times and have always know Hershey for it's chocolate.

Thank you for the wonderful ice cream..was very good
