6/4/2022Kids and I had a nice lunch. We had the bowls with chicken and ribs. It was actually pretty healthy bowl. My son is picky so the fact he enjoyed it was a bonus.As long as I can get a reservation for the park, I'll be glad to meet up, go on a ride, and grab a bite to eat. Just let me know when and I'll set it up.
Harambe Market is a breath of fresh air from other theme park foods as they offer healthier and lighter options without sacrificing flavor. The lines can be long so I highly recommend ordering through the mobile app to receive your food within 30mins without waiting in line! They also have staff to monitor seating for only customers so that it’s not a hassle to dine in!
So the food here is delicious and full of flavor. The open eating area works. Grab a table and send someone for food. Might be one of the best quick serve places in the park.
Ordered food through the Disney app, but note that there’s still a wait as you need to first select that you’ve arrived during your arrival window, and only then will they begin prepping food. When your food is ready, you’re given a notification and you show a cast member your notification before being going to your assigned pickup window. From there, you can grab an outside table to eat your meal.The kids meals were about $8 each. The chicken nuggets came in 3 with a small serving of fries, and we opted for a mandarin orange and water. The Dasani water bottle is a mini one. For the chicken and rice, I would recommend adding the hot sauce (available at the self-service counter) to add more zing. The cookie it came with was soft and you also get a choice of drink. If you have a lighter appetite, the kids meals will suffice.
The only thing I liked was the chicken everything else was a no go, don’t waste your money on that flamingo drink it’s gross and not sure they made it right.

Best food we had in the park. And…they have beer. Not just bud light and Heineken. They had Reef Donkey IPA on tap. I ordered a couple more beers on my phone while walking around Africa and would walk over and pick them up when they were ready. Gamechanger!
This was the best food we have had so far on property. The chicken is soooo good and other family member had the ribs. This was a much needed surprise for lunch today.
Went here in July of 2021 with friends, very easy to mobile order and food didn’t take too long. Everything was very flavorful for quick service and it was a great filling meal for lunchtime.
Ribs were ok. Chicken was very good, all had good spice. But you can't beat the atmosphere.
