Normally? I don't have such poor reviews. I really don't like giving them. However, this place left me no choice. One great thing? It was very clean. Immaculate!I don't know what kind of Jamaican food they're serving. I also haven't tried everything they have to offer. But what I can say, based on my purchases, I would NEVER buy anything from this place again, unless it's a bottled beverage.It's a DISGRACE to Jamaican food. As a Jamaican, I was shocked. Everything purchased was AWFUL...Okay, the Chicken Soup was drinkable, but it failed in taste - it was bland. The patties were dry beyond sense, the coco bread was coco bad & tough, the harddough bread tasted terrible - what happened??? The bun? The bun was dry & stale - really guys? The bun? Even the darn cheese for the bun was wretched. It lacked taste, and was too hard. The darn cheese made a sound, when dropped on the counter. Whhhyyy???Now in their defense? They only prepared the soup, as everything else was pre-done & packaged. However, it's still disappointingly sad. I'm Jamaican, and I know good Jamaican food, when I taste it. I had a feeling, from the minute I walked in, that the food was going to be doubtful. Why? There was no wonderful cooking odor in the air. A dead give-away. Food is supposed to slap you in the face from outside, but marinate your senses, at the very least, when you walk through the door. This definitely was not the case.The customer service was great mind you, wonderful. But the food? I feel my Sister & I deserve our $53.22 returned. No...NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again. If you're looking for real Jamaican food? This isn't it.
Went at 7:12 PM, the lady at the register was talking my order when the lady who is always there said “ no, there’s no food…we’re closed at 7 PM since the beginning of the pandemic”….meanwhile, the “open” light is on and the door unlocked and the lady proceeded to take my order before the other lady told me there’s no food. To confirm this, on google it says they close at 8 PM and it was confirmed by the business 7 weeks ago. So who is lying? Horrible way to do business.

0 stars should be an option!!!Ordered dinner tonight for my family, and let’s just say NEVER AGAIN!!! J*** chicken was try and I asked for oxtail gravy over my rice/chicken. Steamed cabbage had no tast and disgusting! Paid too much money not to be satisfied with our dinner. I will not be ordering from this morning place again. Food was so nasty, I just may dispute the charge!!!
People on the store were friendly. I ordered a trays of Rice N Peas. They filled trays while I waited so it was hot. It tasted very good - no one complained about it. Quantity of rice should have been more for the cost; otherwise, I was satisfied and would order again if needed.
Love the food at this restaurant. However, employees need to be retrain on how to deal with general public.
The power went out in half the bldg, but service was very friendly and food was still great.
I ordered a “large” ackee and received 20% ackee and 80% banana and dumpling. I paid $15 for something that should’ve cost 10! If this is what. Large looks like I can’t imagine the small
Ordered a large Ackee. Lady loaded my plate with boil banana and dumpling and gave me a tiny amount of ackee. She placed the ackee on top the boil banana as to like disguise the tiny amount of ackee she was giving me. Total rip-off. I paid like $15 for a tray filled with cheap to buy bananas and dumplings. They have done this multiple times to me. Because of this they have forever lost the business of I and my family. I can see in the comments how other people are complaining of the same.They are ruining thier own business.
Never disappointed with food and service. I will continue being a return customer.
