THE BEST coffee shop and Puerto Rican food I have ever had! They care so much about their service and quality of their product. Cristina the owner is so passionate about her craft. They have the coolest art foam presentation. This is my new go to place for sure!
When they first opened the food was amazing, their service was exceptional and everything would come out on point. A few months in, I am not sure what happened but food portions got small, prices increased, they got forgetful on giving you the drinks you ordered and food always comes out wrong. My husband and I ordered a scrambled eggs with bacon and a side of bacon. We did not receive any of the bacon. We didn't bother to check the bag because they were usually good about getting things right the first time. (Drove home and came back) and when remade they left the ham in the eggs and just scrambled bacon into it. Eggs were overcooked. As for my order, I asked for an omelet and it literally looked like a pancake as well as burnt. I just asked for my money back and made my own breakfast at home. Love this place and they vibe is amazing but it's time to step your game up like the beginning.
I been attending El Punto Sandwich since they open. I loved the food and service when they first open but the past 3 visits have been disappointing. From the picture you see a little bit of lettuce one full tomatoes and another cut if two small pieces a $10 sandwich. The other half had one tomatoes. I don't see any mayo ketchup nor tasted it anywhere. The staff took 20 min to make a coffee. Being these is the 3rd time being disappointed in the quality and service won't be back.
Loved the vibe here, they have a real nice cozy set up on the inside and a lot of outdoor seating available. I really enjoyed their empanadas and their coffee. The staff were pleasant and their service was quick. I would definitely recommend you give them a try?
Very Disappointing We specifically asked for 2 Steak sandwiches with no mayo ketchup so what do they do add mayo by itself then add ketchup! This isn’t our first bad encounter, they also ALWAYS give us cold sandwiches, I mean come on really? Too Inconsistent for me! They should be able to communicate to the kitchen as it’s not even 10 ft away! I gave this restaurant way to much of my money and I’m officially DONE!
My first time there and I love it. Great coffee, we ordered a pastrami sandwich and it was delicious, el quesito was pretty good but la mayorca with cheese and guava was the best omg soooooo delicious. I like the place, the people everything. I definitely going back. The only thing was that if they put the whole order together and bring it to the table will be better.
Had the Tripleta Sandwich. Very good. The potato sticks give it a welcome crunchiness. The meat was warm the bun nicely toasted. Bathroom was clean. Servers attentive and friendly. Music was a bit loud. Can't wait to come back and try the coffee and bakery products. You have to be on the northbound side of OBT to enter the parking lot, but there are convenient places to do U-turns if you are southbound.
The coffee it was only presentation, the sandwiche it was Allright but we get a enpanadilla meat and it didn't have taste and a pice of cake that it didn't work it. The price is too high for the food there 35.00$ just for that things is a lot of money.
This place has a really nice space, nicely decorated. The pastries were fresh... loved their quesitos... I had a cuban sandwich, and my wife had a pincho and they were both really good. The only thing that they need to get better at is the wait time after you order your food... it took them 35 minutes to get me my food and the place wasn't as busy. But to be honest, they made it right on the spot; that is something that they can perfect over time. Everything else was great.
Look no further for fabulous sandwiches! They can get really busy so I would order ahead if wanting to take out - we arrived and was told it would be 30-40 minutes for an order , but luckily they had a couple of tripletas that had been mistakenly made so were able to take those straight away. I also had the alcapurria con carne - mmmmmm - and a Mallorca - ooof, delish
