It was delicious. Family oriented restaurant. Packed no wait time.
Second time visitor. First time was fine and I really liked the fried pork chunks. We came back despite the very loud music. This time, my pork chunks were basically fried to a crisp like they were forgotten about in the deep fryer. Think beef jerky chewy. They hurt my teeth even. Last time they were juicy and delicious. I had to flag down a server because it was ‘drop and go’. By then my wife was done eating. They took it off my bill, but both the cook and the server should have never served me this over deep-fried garbage.My wife was OK with her garlic shrimp, but said they were bland and really didn’t taste of garlic.The server didn’t understand “Maduros” when I asked for them. Isn’t that a Spanish term for sweet plantains? She kept saying “Sweet Plantains?” back at me. The Hispanic couple next to us just kept shaking their heads.
The service is great, the food was great too! I really loved how helpful everyone was here and they treated me like family while there. The food is expensive but the taste is top notch. I would recommend their Mofongo with pernil. The dish came with this really yummy side salad and the dressing is really good too. It's a great place with great food.
Best food and service I love the atmosphere makes you want to dance while your waiting for your food. I highly recommend this place
I went to Primos and usually have had great service and great food, however today was different. I came in and while I was ordering I saw the two ladies taking orders look and laugh at me and then skipped me to cash out a gentleman that was behind me. I believe it was because he was Latino and I was not. That’s truly disappointing. As a black woman and Afro Latina I have experienced this at other Latino restaurants but hadn’t here. I won’t be back and I’m sure no one who owns or manages Primos will care.

Some of the waitresses specially the ones in the registers are kinda rude. The food is always super salty they only have certain food they don’t have a full manu on the frituras they always missing most stuff in the manu. Is a Puerto Rican restaurant supposedly but is more Dominican than anything the quality is getting worse every time. No vuelvo más!!!!

I would give the Quesabirria an 7/10 and the taco 5/10 I’ve tried more flavorful tacos for less than half the price.
