I drove from winter park a 40 min drive no big deal beautiful day nice drive with the wife. I walked in no one sat me down or even greeted us no problem we sat down. There was a waitress taking care of the table next to us 5+ minutes later I walked up to the counter and they were all busy joking and having a good time behind counter I asked if someone was going to help us. They gave me the stink Eye like was was bothering them the cam gave us what we order and again no one came back to our table. I went back up and asked for help and again a party behind counter with no care that there was other customers waiting and even one customer mentioned he was never coming back because of this service. The young lady got nasty with me because I asked here if anyone was coming back to our table we needed take out try’s for our leftovers and wanted our check to check out and forget all I got from there on was dirty looks. Shame because food is great will never go back. Gave it one star to make sure it was read not because of the food
I stopped there and bought two alcapurrias to takeout. I saw them made and though they will be cold, but they were actually fresh and crunchy. The banana alcapurria was filled with corn beef and the corn beef was very salty. The one made of yuca was filled with ground beef and the beef was salty too. If it wasn’t for the salt they would be perfect!

My new favorite Latin restaurant. Very good Puerto Rican food. Every time I go to a new latin restaurant I get the same dish to see if they pass my taste test, a simple white rice w/ pollo guisado. This place passed with flying colors. Perfectly seasoned chicken, soft and tender and juicy. Now, I went the past 2 days in a row. First day a customer who was ordering ahead of me gave complaints that the employee had completely ignored her while she was trying to order, the employee apparently just went to the back and hid there and another employee took the customers order. Today I went with my grandmother and experienced the same exact treatment from the same employee. A little blonde lady. She was literally at the counter face to face with my grandmother and she was trying to ask her if they had an item in the back that wasn't on the display shelf and the employee completely ignores her and walks away. I get that some restaurants may be busy but a simple yes or no question shouldn't take too much of your time. All the other girls that work there are super nice and show great customer service but that blonde lady is an issue. Other than that, great food, good price. 10/10 would recommend.

Every time i go i ask for fresh cooked Sorullos de maiz & empanadas, they bring them out & they are frozen inside. Takes 3 tries for them to really cook it correctly. smh
